Does anyone know of an M-series transmission for sale or exchange with an E-series?

As many of you know, I have an M-series Dino no. 02038 with matching engine and body numbers. Only the transmission has been changed to an E-series version by a previous owner. At first, I saw only advantages with the swap. After all, the E-series transmission was a beefed-up and improved version of the one in the M-series, with marginally taller ratios, etc. Also, the parts for rebuilds are more readily available on the E-series transmission. All good things obviously. But for historical accuracy, it would be nice to have the correct generation of transmission in my car.

Best of all would be to find the original transmission for 02038, although that may be hoping for too much. But if anyone knows of an M-series transmission which was bought from a Peter Juhlin in Sweden, please let me know where it is. Most likely sold to the UK, but I am not certain.

More realistically though, any M-series transmission available?
