The original on the digital were the forged. However I changed them to the cast. I feel the cast make the wheel look bigger. I am not sure about the weight but it is slightly more. Having stated this, I doubt you would notice the difference with 830hp. Have you considered getting the wheels , that is almost any wheel, done as a special in gloss Nero if you do not like silver . Carbon has a degree of serviceability issues , they are not repairable if you happen to make an error . The weight difference will not matter to most people
I like the symmetrical look of the standard wheels. I'm not a fan of the spoke design of the forged wheels. Is there a forged wheel option with the spoke design of either the standard or CF wheels?
Beautiful! I’ve ordered the same color (without the stripe) GTS which has just gone into production. I’m even more excited now, it looks amazing, enjoy! Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Late to the party but your livery stripe location is interesting; especially at the front. On the Pista, Ferrari would not let you run a livery stripe over the nose of the car surrounding the rectangular Ferrari emblem. Your 296 has the full view livery in plain sight and looks the better for it. I especially like the short stripe behind the rear window. Very inspired historic specification!
Thank you. I was unaware of this for for the Pista. Sometimes Ferrari’s rules don’t make sense. I personally don’t like how my 812GTS can’t have the stripe on the frame of the front windscreen. Seems to be out of proportion to me. May the Horse be with you
I didn't want to mention your 812 GTS as we were on your 296. However the Ferrari rationale was 'it is a quality issue' so no livery on the front windshield frame.
Thank you…. I just don’t see how it can be a quality issue unless the roof can move slightly to one side which would pronounce the lines not lining up?? It’s just weird to me. May the Horse be with you
That’s amazing! I feel as though that was the right move financially and aesthetically too! I also changed my wheels quite late on and so was worried it wasn’t going to take effect…. However it did. Do you know when your car is going into production? Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Agreed, we are entering order this week so 12 months I had to get sticker below six hundred k thank you for idea!
My experience in Costa Pilota a normal driver will see no benefit of carbon wheels on the road. Not even sure tracking the car makes a difference unless your a great driver
that goes for all carbon parts pure aesthetics, how many cars have lifts that weight 170 pounds or more and then get carbon parts. It’s all for looks
