I am new here at this forum.
I like to repaint my A6G54 to its original grey colour. Does anybody knows the Maserati colour code in the year 1955/1956?

    best wishes Sixcylinder

Does anyone have the history or any photos of this car? It is a Zagato bodied car. It as far as I know was the only one of its kind with US race history. Any other information would be greatly appreciated. This car will be on display in Edinburgh September 4th at the house of Hollyrood.

It seems as though my post was lost in transit so I apologize if this is doubled up. I am trying to learn as much as I can about Zagato bodied chassis #2179. I will be accompanying the car to the Concourse at Hollyrood House September 4th. I have a few photos that were sent to me by the mechanics apparently some came from Mr. Bauhmer. It seems difficult to find any valuable information on this car. Any information that could be provided would be greatly appreciated.
    Thank you
    Jpope

SUDDENLY another 2108 was shown at Radnor Hunt this weekend.
    https://www.flickr.com/photos/fixedgear/21380665402/
    The description:
"Chassis No. 2108 was originally the 1956 NY Auto Show display vehicle, wearing an Allemano body. While being delivered to its first customer, it caught fire under the dahboard and the insurance company totaled the car. [owner] bought the mechanically complete car that had virtually no miles along with another A6G2000 [??? which one] as spare in 2005. Chassis No. 2108 was fitted with the Zagato body from Chassis No. 2102, the Moss/Jenkinson 1956 MM practice car. After a two-year restoration in Padova, Italy the resulting car is what you see here today."
If this one really is the #2108, then what chassis was shown in Pantheon?

The pictures of #073 were taken in Holland at VSOC where I worked in those years, must be around 2001/2. I remember the car well and if memory serves me right, it was sold back to Italy.

In August this year I flew to Chicago, ILL, to inspect the A6G-Zagato #2107. Although it does not have its original color anymore, this car is one of the very best Zagatos of this type. Matching-no.`s and it never had a serious accident in its brief 1950s racing history. It was the only Zagato that was fitted by Maserati with a synchronised ZF gearbox!
I had the great privilage to broker this stunning car to a collector in Europe. It was delivered by Lufthansa Cargo last week and now awaits its cosmetical restoration back to its original color.
