In the US cars with particulate filters, what does it take to have them removed and sport cats installed?
Why didnt you guys first start with changing to sport cats and then to xpipe and mufflers? I think if you did that, you would be saving a ton of money.
No magnusson moss act in Europe I guess. I dont know how you guys live there with all the rules, so much bureaucracy.
Simply because I didn't know how little the difference would be. Really hard to believe. Had I known that, maybe I'd have done otherwise
When I had to get my TDF smogged I had to take off my 100 Cell Cats, X pipes and rear muffler. The car was so bad and The minute the 100 cell cats went back on the car was off the charts again! Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
It's all about the CATS for the Smog. When my 812 GTS arrives, I am heading for a set of 200 Cell CATS as I can't be arsed in the future to deal with this.
Mine failed the first time. Hence why I went back and got it done. Basically if it throws engine codes, you are not looking good.
Ok thx. My GTS is a 2022 so I have time until the next one. I'll have my mechanic go back to OEM, pass, and then 'back to heaven' again... I'm ready to live with that.
I may wait closer to when warranty is up unless my service manager gives the ok. When I do, Novitec x pipe and back boxes. Possibly the 100 cel cats, otherwise capristo 200.
Promised I’d share some footage. O… M… G… (headset strongly recommended. Hope you enjoy this short clip) https://photos.app.goo.gl/jy5UhG3HGGafwruQ6
