The FIA is revisiting the incident in which Lewis Hamilton crossed a live track during the Qatar Grand Prix. Despite original stewards decision, “in view of his role model status, the FIA is concerned about the impression his actions may have created on younger drivers."
I read this yesterday. And if I had posted and commented , all the attacks from the cultists would have begun.
Woke up this morning here in Corpus Christi and it was 57degrees. I'm sure it's around 55 or so in Austin right now.
I find there is too much emphasis on aesthetic in F1 which is a distraction from the goal. A different livery doesn't make a. car go faster, but people get all exited by it. What's really important are technical improvements that make it more competitive. I know, it's dictated by the sponsors.
Weather forecast: Friday, Saturday and Sunday-->anywhere from 31 to 33 degrees Celsius. SUNNY, SUNNY, AND SUNNY. No rain expected for all 3 days.
Seriously? So now “role model” is an official designation assigned by FIA? I’m trying to imagine Hunt or De Portago in today’s context. And I can’t.
Why freakin wait so long to make a decision? They should have done it right there(Qatar) and then. It was obviously an infraction as clear as day!! It's a 2 tiered system because had it been anyone else crossing a live track, they've would have gotten a penalty. Even Marshalls are told NOW not to go on a live track until a safety car is deployed or a red flag.

To me it's both. True... you can't shine sh*t but the cars should look fantastic. In fact, I'd go as far as to support a rule that "X" percentage of the car needs to have paint. I don't like all this black carbon fiber showing. It's just cheap looking
Max and Lewis actually crashed at Monza Turn 1 at that chicane – Max walked across the track. Sargeant apparently did it at Suzuka under red flags Alex Brundle and Karun Chandhok, with the Sky F1 broadcaster pointing out that Max Verstappen had walked on the track tarmac to get back to the pits following a collision with Hamilton at Monza 2021.
Have you seen a Ferrari window sticker lately? Nothing cheap about carbon fibre Image Unavailable, Please Login
