 How will they get the plane out of there without damaging it?

    All the best,

Crane. Pick it up. If its just the one strut may be able to just put large plate under to support it and use tug to pull onto solid ground.

In the past I have seen cranes and air bags used until a firm "road bed" can be made available on which the undercarriage can move.

F-111s would sit on their tails if you filled up the aft tank first. Very embarrassing if you were on a cross-country and supervising the refueling. An old F-111B photo below, although this looks like it was intentional.

Might have been the only way to get that one off the carrier.

Not enough JATO/RATO in the world to get an F-111 with wings at 72.5° off the ground.

On 727s with three rear engines this was common .
The rear air stairs had over center hydraulic actuators that would lock to prevent this .
I was onboard one on the ramp in maintenance when someone didn’t lower the stairs and the nose started coming up .
Everyone ran to the front and brought it back down .
In the hangar 55 gallon drums of set concrete were attached to a special fitting as insurance.
All 727s came with that attach point .

((The pylons themselves are hollow, about 25 metres tall and five metres wide at the base and 0.75 at the tip. They have a petrol engine with a propeller that expels air and maintains the pressure inside.))

Although your reference is probably the most legendary Thanksgiving 'aviation' reference, for those who don't know the Avenger was nicknamed the turkey.
