I was talking about future models but i don’t think that the next Roma will be V8 but V6.

@day355 will we see a new V8 range next year as @Condor Man said?

As to the launch date - didn’t Ferrari announce 4 models in 2023? And therefore should the last one not be F167?

An appearance of an updated F136 F (V8 N/A) in the Icona line would be awesome. This engine reached a very interesting level of technical improvement and reliability in the 458, and I believe that today it could produce around 640 hp (in the Speciale, in '14, it produced 605 hp).
This, added to a good weight, cutting-edge aerodynamics, and perhaps PS suspension technology, would have excellent dynamics and driving experience.
It is worth remembering that the Icona line has no obligation to sacrifice experience and sensations for the sake of numbers.
An Icona V8 N/A, classic design, and slightly larger production, would be really cool.
IMO, if the F154 (V8 TT) ends up on the Icona line, it will be a disappointment.

Originally the F167 was going to be launched in 2023 but it was moved to mid 2024 end of June is my understanding.

IMO, No you want a TTV8 icona with 288 GTO and F40 DNA. Lite, powerful and gorgeous

The Lusso V8 is RWD, the V12 is the one with driven front wheels. It results in similar performance; the V8 is lighter but is down on power and traction.

Still, the V12 commands a premium because its engine is just about perfect.

I don't think it would be a complete tribute. As beautiful as an Icona version of the 288 GTO or F40 would be, IMO the F154 engine is not captivating and exciting enough for that, including in terms of sound. But, I say again, this is just my personal opinion.
The F114 and F120 were raw, completely different animals than one of these turbo engines today.
When it comes to emotion, I think that modern N/A engines are much more comparable to those from decades ago, ideal for use in versions that pay homage to historical models.

Having spent more time this year at the factory than I ever have and personally knowing the inner workings of Ferrari and in particular their forced NDA’s for internal information and of course the repercussions for anyone divulging such private information. I have often wondered how day355 leaking such information is not a substantial breach.

Now back to Rolex’s….. last week when I was in Italy many of my Italian friends admired my new GMT II…..

    Thank you.

    Yes that is correct.

I believe it may be called the Guinness as a new Nickname according to speculation!

While I don't disagree with your thesis, all Iconas are based on current Ferrari hardware. An older N/A V8 wouldn't pass today's emissions standards (would need reworking) and having been out of production would need the old tooling, which is a no go. A new N/A V8 is hard to imagine.

Yes. That is true. I mixed things. A good example why Ferrari should not have multiple powertrains for single model. ;)

Anyway, the V8 version still handles better.

Ferrari will continue to build V12s, after all, such cars can still be build with e-fuels after 2035.

Maybe I misunderstand what your are typing, but in the Lusso the V8 is the RWD only version. The V12 is the AWD...

At most, a free teaser that serves their interets. Nothing specific is explained here. Especially when you see everyone's expectations and the curiosity for this car visible in this post... Nice watch, aren't you a gamer :D?

No. The F167 will feature two very large and very prominent outboard exhaust canisters. There will not be quad exhausts. There will be one very large canister on each side as far outboard as you can go. Picture the back of an F-14 Tomcat fighter jet.

Much to digest here over the past few days. By far the most intriguing being the prospect of a new NA V8? Never would have thought that would be in the cards. Seems the good guys have gained some ground in the fight against the misguided, highly politicized push for EVs. Funny how just a bit of war and economic distress and the attention shifts back to things that actually matter with climate activists fading into the background.

Very excited for 167 and whether rumors of this potential V8 have anything of substance behind them.

So... would these words ("difficult question") mean, in your opinion, a tie between the F167 and TDF designs?
I ask because, if the F167 will be as beautiful as a TDF, it will be something truly spectacular.
