Yep, if you shoot at someone, you'll go to prison, they'll be the victim. I'm certain Pap knows this.
****ing Hell, Pap! Very glad no one was hurt. But, **** being a soft-cock. I’d be straight down to the local gun shop tomorrow. Next time they might not just go for the cars, and I’d shoot without hesitation if they came for me, the missus, or the dogs.
Sorry Pap, didn't mean to jinx you! If you are going to hang around out there get a Rottie or a shepherd. The little pricks hate them and won't come near you..
Like the Africans, they are scared of the dogs in the VIC Police squad, the only issue they are NOT allowed to use 'em. Pap talk to Rob H , he breeds Belgium Shepherds and one of those will keep the scum away.
When we lived in Alice a guy up the road had a rottie. He had a 10' high chain wire fence around his place. We saw some indigenous kids giving the place next door the once over ignoring the dog until it went straight up and over the fence and chased these kids up the road. They wouldn't come within a mile of his place (and by default, ours).
Cheers mate! Very disappointing after 20+ years of not having a problem with the area etc. Things are looking up, it's a small town and Pap knows everyone, so Pappy knows who was joy riding around in my car after making a few enquiries to some "first nation" customers and friends. Underage kids, but Wifey went to school with this boys Dad, Dad is about the size of a jockey lol. Smaller perhaps, but apparently a very nice fella. So Pappy will swing past and have a chat to Dad today or tomorrow. His son and son's girlfriend were definitely in the car, but not 100% sure if they stole the cars, but they will know who did. I just want to get Dad to tell them to make sure they NEVER come back. I also have the young girls iPhone also, found it under the front seat yesterday afternoon after I washed all the fingerprint dust off the car when i got it back home late yesterday afternoon. Detectives showed up today and took the phone and they told me they have software to access iPhones when they are locked, so they should be able to open it check contacts, messages and they also said these kids are good for recording videos, so they will suss it all out. I fit my spare SR5 wheels and tyres to the Prado yesterday afternoon in 40c heat. Urrgghhhh. Looks like the cops use stainless hollow spikes to blow those tyres out. Hilux got 2x spare front tyres I had in the garage. Will fit those SR5 wheels and tyres to the Hilux after I get new tyres fitted onto the Prado with the insurance claim. Here are some random damage pics of the cars. Cheers mate, nothing will happen to these young punks. I have their address, was half thinking I casually break into their house tonight for a laugh to see what they reckon.
Thanks mate and I agree, would be NICE to catch one in the act so I can break some fingers. "Sorry copper, he tripped and fell on the concrete which is how he broke those fingers"
Cheers RB, if I lived in the US I would have owned an arsenal by now that would make Rambo look like an amateur.
Cheers mate, definitely comes back to the parents and their upbringing unfortunately. It happens day in day out, my cars were the 6th cars stolen since last Thursday early morning. 6 cars in 4 nights, mine were taken 3am Monday morning. They stole another car last night the Detectives told me this morning when they came around. Grateful I got them back relatively undamaged, but still has cost me nearly $2000 out of pocket now after I found some paint and panel damage on the Hilux yesterday afternoon when I was fitting the tyres, so I had to make another $695 excess claim on that cara now also FFS. I still claim the front tyres, I was honest about those and told them I am still happy to fit the wheels I have for it. The $5000 insurance claim or whatever will make it an approx $7000 hour long joyride for these kids. They need a ****en bullet as there is no hope for them.
Prado is auto, Hilux is manual. Yes, I am surprised as you are, they now know how to drive manual cars now!! There are only around 20 garage panel lift doors here in the Isa also, no one has them but they also managed to pull the emergency release cord on my panel door like I was saying to lift that panel door to keep the noise down. I have that rope tied up real short also as I can stand on my toes and reach it to pull it. These kids jumped up to get it as they broke the handle off the bottom of it. They learn all these tricks in Juvi apparently, they all share these "mad stories and tricks". Grandtreks!! Ah, ya see, there is a method to my madness here SK! Lots of people here buy new Hilux's and Prado's and instead of wearing out the full set of brand new Grandtrek AT22 tyres and Bridestone Duelers that come with their cars, they take them straight off and sell a full set of 5 (spare included) on Facebook marketplace from $300 to $500. Every 40,000 kms when the Prado tyres have worn out, I get on Facebook and purchase a new set for around $300 to $500, it's $100 to fit and balance them on top at my local tyre shop. First set for the Prado cost me $400 fitted and balanced and last set cost me $500 fitted and balanced. They are the set I just removed after the cops spiked them. Each tyre is around $300 each new, so $1500 worth of tyres for the $300 to $500 suits me just fine for the Wife's daily hack. And the last 2x sets I got, the extra "5th" tyre I re-sold on Facebook marketplace for $50 each lol. So I've done 123,000 in this Prado and only spent around $800 in total on tyres in 9 years. Pap is a ****en genius if you ask me. I guess I COULD ask for some big dollar tyres now with this insurance claim, maybe some 4WD tyres like the Goodyear Wrangler Duras which are popular out here, even though we don't really do any 4WDing. I might just stick to another set of Grandtreks, but it's a shame they will pay $1200 for them from the tyre shop when there are currently 2x sets for sale on Facebook marketplace at the moment for $300 lol And the vermin from here would definitely be migrating to your area mate, be careful up there. And what happened? One of your customers lost the key FOB for your Prado and the replacement key FOB is two weeks ago?
Cheers man, appreciate the kind words and I am ok, Wife and kids a little shaken up and Wife and I didn't sleep well last night expecting these ****ers to come back to try and take the Prado, but they never did. Every little noise made me get up and check outside but nothing. So very tired at this point in time after two late nights and big days. Definitely won't be arming up....................with guns I mean.
Sorry to hear about this woman. The parents are just as much to blame as the kids, it's a never ending cycle and it needs to stop.
.........and that is precisely what I did when I bought a new Navara 20 years ago AND when Shagger came over from WA with Chinese whitewalls on it. Straight down to Central tyres and swapped 'em for Wranglers and Dunlop Sports respectively.
Nup his Suby was stolen from his unit and his insurance is paying for my renta. When stolen the thieves kept or hoiked his FOB and he doesn't have a spare.
Cheers for clearing that up. At this point in time I think they still have my key FOB for the Prado. So start relay removed and garage door bolted up tight till I get new keys programmed. When these maggots broke into the Sister in-laws house 6 months ago, they took all their car keys and came back next few days trying to take them before they gave up. I showed them how to remove the start relays in their cars till they had new keys cut and programmed. They removed and replaced that start relay when they needed to drive their cars.
Yeah but what a foikstick way to have to live when, even as youl be aware I'm an anti firearm bloke,a $2 bullet (good quality) will fix the problem..
What a mess, awful to hear about this Pap, Glad to hear you and the family are safe and well, all the best [emoji120] Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
