So the previous owner of my 99 360 modena used 430 engine mounts when they were replaced back in 2019. My issue is, when the car is cold, there is vibration in the cabin for the first few minutes of warm up. I assume the 430 mount is supposed to be an upgrade of some sort? are they stiffer than the factory 360 ones? is it hurting anything keeping the 430 mounts? Its just a bit annoying if i know that i can soften the vibrations if i can put the 360 units back in.

Do you have the exact PN used? I believe there are also challenge/enzo mounts that are more stiff. I put those in my F430 and don't mind them. I did have to tighten the rear tail lamps as it shook them more.

If they are upgraded ones from the factory (even Challenge ones) they aren't going to hurt anything. I'm surprised you can tell though, if its vibrating that much its more likely related to the firmware and possibly some worn out components like plugs or coils.

If your still running on stock '99 MY software on your car the stock calibration can be improved on pretty dramatically, the factory did just this but sadly never retrofitted it to older models. The only thing that you may experience however is that some faulty components may be highlighted as CEL's by the newer firmware because not all diagnostics checks work properly on the early cars. Its why people think '99's are so reliable, they just cannot see the faults :) lol...

You would be correct. I just looked up the part # that they used. It is 190255. i guess there isnt anything wrong with it, as long as i know its supposed to be this way. Thanks!

so, ironically the previous owner did a 1 bank "tune up" new coils and plugs on the drivers side only. not sure why, but the car seems to run really well, no misfires, etc. i will probably do a "tune up" on the passenger bank here in a few weeks. The car does have the 430 challenge/enzo mounts. thinking about swapping those out for the standard 360 mounts. its not horrible, but i think id like it a little bit smoother. Sent you a private message, btw.

The car vibrating can be normal like any car, but a certain amount is also not normal. Any advice I give can only be what I’ve learned from my own car, so I’m not super knowledgeable, but check the engine timing between banks (Mine was almost 3° off between banks), and also check when the transmission mount was last replaced.

That previous owner should be fired. No right person would only change 1/2 of the spark plugs and coils. Do them all whether it's lefts side or right or bank 1 or bank 2.

It appears that they charged him $2300 for the Half tune up. Maybe thats the reason? I mean Coil packs cannot be more than $100 a piece, and plugs under $10 a piece. They look fairly simple to change. maybe an hour tops?

So, I swapped out the Enzo/stradale mounts and put some stock 360 mounts back in. Completely got rid of the vibration. Anyone want some low mileage Enzo/stradale mounts for free? All you would need is to pay shipping.
