Books are old-fashioned and basically out, nobody reads them anymore. Nowadays it's all internet, FB/IG/TikTok/WhatsApp, google, and the like. Screens, not paper.......... (yes, it is sad indeed). Marcel Massini

One question, has anyone talked to Boudewijn Berkhoff lately?? He used to comment on this section often.
Unfortunately no longer with us : https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/rip-boudewijn-berkhoff.662642/
I think I might remember that now. Very sad to hear, he was always a very knowledgeable and nice contributor.
The 1953 Canada Shoes P356 I did decals for a few years ago. Gerardo GT facebook again. The best source for newly found photos now!! More details coming soon in the book "Porsche in La Carrera Panamericana 1952-1954" by José Alfredo Hernández Padilla. Image Unavailable, Please Login

Did anyone ever post Steven Mitchell "Kraznavian" interviews and footage in this thread? Search isn't working for me
"krasnavian". Good question that I don't have an answer to. Just wanted to amend the spelling of his member name in the event someone sees this and wants to search for his posts.
first few are from Stephen Mitchell @krasnavian RIP. Some of these folks came to our weekly EW Wednesdays dinners in LA he started almost 20 years ago. Some folks met John Fitch through Stephen, wonderful guy. He never spoke of Le Mans and we never wanted to ask. https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/every-wednesday-evening-in-westwood-village.234006/ https://youtu.be/8-w5srkzlSg https://youtu.be/hxPku0Ebuzw https://youtu.be/Wr2ZsaBKMFU
Sorry for not responding sooner. We did post those Stephen Mitchell videos before when he released his first Pan Am video and poster many pages back in this thread. He was talking about making another second video but never did it. RIP
Ferrari 250 Pan Am 1952. One of my favorite Pan Am Ferrari's, and it should have beaten the Mercedes team if the gearbox had not failed. It led alot of the race. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I just stumbled across this photo for sale on eBay (Not mine). Don't know if this image has been posted before. https://www.ebay.com/itm/394041123363 Listing says: DRIVER: DOUGLAS EHLINGER. CO-PILOT: LUIS MARRASSE MERLE. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Nice. I had UMI Mike Q do this car for me in 1/24th and 1/12th. I used a modified 1/12th 12ART XK120 with wheel covers removed and the decals applied. Also had some printed wire wheels done. One of these days I will post my finished Pan Am model photos.
A few more rare Ferrari Pan Am photos from Gerardo GT facebook. And yes contrary to some beliefs we do need a new comprehensive Pan Americana 1950-1954 book with the new found photos and history. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
