Next one will be a manual conversion !! I was tempted to convert this one but it's too special to be messed with !!
The only CS I would modify would be a branded title car that could be bought cheap and it's long term value wouldn't matter . . . only to you.
For what it's worth, we were offered $325k for our 20k mile US-spec CS. Turned it down, nothing can replace the thrills for the money.
I have always thought if the CS had the Superfast 60ms gearbox, the 10k-20k mile CS is 400k, under 10k is 450-500k. Nothing like it
Hey all, complete noob when it comes to a CS, but I am seriously considering buying one. I'm a Porsche guy living in Japan and came across a clean CS. I wanted to know if a one of one spec car holds any value over a common car. Looking at an Argento car with beige interior. 25k km and in excellent condition. Specced with roll bar and factory stripes with yellow calipers. I will enjoy the car for a few years and maybe even import to the US and throw it BAT. Excuse the poor English and thank you in advance.
Also, a few people I know (I might become one of them) have two or 3 similar cars so the mileage is spread out. The 997 RS forum on Rennlist has countless 997 GT3/RS and CS owners.
I have tried to figure out a way to get a higher mileage CS to drive the snot out of. The thought of having a lower mileage CS sitting in the garage with a 575,(that I do drive without regard brings me back to reality). 3 F cars just isn’t in the cards. I post this today cause I took both of them out today back to back and realize how lucky I am
Great video from Davide Cironi just out Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale: The First in the Specials Lineage - Driven by Davide Cironi (SUBS) - YouTube
This is why I bought mine with over 25k and now have over 27k though sadly that is over 2 years of ownership. I'm constantly thinking of selling because I hate having cars that sit so much but not sure I could actually part with.
Anyone know how many 2005s were produced. Seems like just a handful based on past sales and registry info.
