    Any word on all the penalty investigations yesterday?
    There seems to be so many penalty variations lately, they should simplify the system and just make point deductions for infractions, instead of interfering with race positions and results.

    Truly disgusting! Sam Collins on the F1 TV app was showing slo-mo video from Sargeant's car and he was clearly getting green lights on the trackside. When he comes out of the last corner Alonso is sitting on the side of the track facing the wrong way. Sergeant should have been pissed at the marshals for not giving him yellow flags!

    I preferred the three options in the 90's and early 00's.

    1) Drive thru penalty.
    2) 10 second stop-go penalty.
    3) Black flag.

    With the first and second served no later than five laps of the ruling. IIRC
