The F40 may not have aged but the fashion certainly has! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
The Eagle Has Landed. Yesterday a prolific Supercar collector achieved a longtime dream when he went to the airport to meet his new European NCNA F40 80712, a real gentleman who appreciates what we do, this deal is all the sweeter because we know this car will be thoroughly enjoyed. He then proceeded to drive the car with the comment to me later "it sounds incredible ... the off-throttle pops & bangs are addictive!" We put this one in an enthusiast home. It’s crazy to me that the F40 is SOOOOO dated looking and screams 1980s, but somehow it is so amazing. They certainly did it right!

Thank you Bert, it's always good to see VIN-identified historical images. Here it is now, caption this one: An Englishman Abroad. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I really do miss mine. I'm even having thoughts about selling my F50 to get back into one Image Unavailable, Please Login
No idea sorry, they were posted on a F40 facebook group and I thought they would be of interest here as well
Having driven all the Ferrari Supercars I can say here's nothing quite like the F40 driving experience, the turbos spool up with an inspiring 'woosh', and then when you back off, the ensuing snap-crackle-pop is a joyous automotive soundtrack, it never gets old for the driver, or for other road-users who encounter one. One day I was driving one of my F40s here in Southern California at a nice clip (observing all posted speed limits - of course) when I noticed in my rear view mirrors a Subaru driven by 2 young men weaving through the traffic in my wake trying to get to be behind me. We eventually we came to a light and the car pulled alongside the driver's door, and with the passenger practically hanging out the window with eyes as wide as saucers, he said, and I quote: "dude, your car is seriously shooting flames!!" with arms wide as if to show me how big they were. I smiled and said very coolly: "Yeah I know". The look on the young man's face - priceless! The F40 effect. They then proceeded to follow me for the next half hour, and as they did, I made it my duty to downshift on occasion in order to provide the aural & visual entertainment they wished to experience. A service to the people. I could just about see their faces in the mirrors, grinning like a pair of schoolboys. That day I concluded, an F40 on the road makes the world a better place.
Joe, I hope, they have been so traumatized, that they will be future F40 buyers! Good sellers effort!!
Yes, this was 85596 https://joesackeyclassics.com/portfolio/ferrari-f40-tipo-usa-85596/ (scroll down to see the exhaust) a USA cat car, which I retrofitted with cat bypass pipes and a Tubi LM straight pipe exhaust made of Inconel which turned a beautiful gold color with the heat.
If you're an end-user principal looking for a nice non-cat non-adjust European F40 priced fairly please contact me offline at [email protected] or text (714) 928 5626 Image Unavailable, Please Login
Sharing some photographs of my F40 taken by Ashley Border for The Road Rat Magazine’s latest edition (Edition 15). They put her across a 3 page front cover gatefold. Pretty insane tbh. Hope you like them.
