Is there one? If not, I'd like to start this exclusive thread with my 81k+ 97 355. I hope to have 90 in less than 2 years!

Why not aim for this year?? ;)

Mine only has 22k on the clock, but I've put on 2800 miles in the five months I've owned it. Looking to increase that as the weather warms!

I'm a tick below 39k. Got it at 33k. Not sure if that qualifies as hgh mileage, but based on the mileage many other fchatters have, it seems to be. I put about 3000 miles a year on her.

Well, I'm on 54k or thereabouts right now. Done almost 20k since I bought it 3.5 years ago, but hardly any in the last year due to redundancy and other time distractions.

Definitely mean to use it some more this summer...

    30,012!!! :)

I have put 11,000 on her in 3.5yrs--and the first two years of ownership I was travelling at least 21 days a month for work!

My car was also completely out of my hands from April 2010-Sept 2010.

    :)

About to pass 52k on my '99... thinking about selling in the spring but have a feeling all the low mileage nazis will say the car isn't worth anything. Should be interesting.

I've got 38K on my 97! What is defined as "high mileage"? Given that I've had the valves done, headers done, all majors done, every record from new and anything else ever needed done. What would someone rather have? A 5000 mile car with nothing done or a proven car with perfect records? Kind of funny to me. BTW: Mine isn't for sale!!!!:)

Well I will say, after owning my first F since Thanksgiving 2 years ago, I am impressed about how little I have had to do. I bought it with 75k miles, now has 81+ and have only done minor things like cv boot, ok I hacked some items to remove engine codes, oil, you know the usual. Anyway, I was gritting my teeth the first few miles after I bought, but hey, it's proved me wrong thus far. I guess I'm falling deeper in love!

If you've used the car and enjoyed it then who cares what anybody says. As long as you realize a value that takes all into account then you ought to be fine. At the end of the day, your car is worth what someone is willing to buy it for, high mileage, low mileage, doesn't really matter.

I just sold my 1993 512TR with over 111k on it
and when I owned a 1984 308 GTB QV I sold it with well over 100K on it

Fun thread. Brought my 1998 355-F1 home this week in 2010. It had 10,000 miles on it.
    It rolled 40,000 last weekend.

    First 12 years = 10,000 miles
    My 13 years = 30,000 miles

    :)

I don't believe any of it. Its common internet knowledge that anything with a prancing horse on the hood will completely disintegrate somewhere around 20k miles or if lucky only depreciate to zero around 19k miles.. that's assuming you did the requird full engine rebuild at 15k miles.

Think my 355 is on 70k miles or thereabouts.
Mind you, it had a full engine rebuild at 64k (found out I'd been sold a car with a cracked block). Admittedly, the repair with chemical metal has lasted since 2007, so it did well. But I was sodding annoyed when I found out I'd been sold a bodge. So, new block, liners, bearings, valves, valve guides, exhaust manifolds, rebuilt oil pump etc etc. It was a long list (I figured whilst in there etc etc. Possibly overkill).
Anyway, here's to hitting infinity and beyond...

Is it allowed to participate with a kilometer based vehicle on high mileage thread?

A bit over 100k here. In kilometres, that is. Measly 62 kmiles or so. One rebuild some 10 000km ago due to a snapped belt.
