New to the forum just bought a 2021 Roma. Absolutely love the car, but just encountered my first issue. The front hood/bonnet is difficult to close. It's closes onto the latch easy enough but doesn't click into the final lock place very easily. Sales person tells me I have to push hard about 6 inches from the end of the hood to make it latch. Is this normal on the Roma? Do any other Roma owners have this issue?I feel like I'm going to dent the hood with how much force it takes?

For my Cali, to close the front bonnet. After lowering the front hood until it's an inch or so above the latch. I like to use two hands to the left and right of where the hood badge is. And, close it with a firm shove. If you feel like you need to shove it so hard that it's going to dent, something may be misaligned...T

My Portofino M also requires a level of force that is outside of my comfort. It requires focus and careful hand placement. The cars share many components, and perhaps this characteristic.

    PS- photos please!

Hello, exactly same issue to me, at the point that I thought something was broken...then with more power (much more) it was closing.
    Quiet disappointing anyway.

Ditto with my 488 Spider. Dealer says its fine but there seems to be some secret spot to apply pressure. Takes me a half dozen tries to get it to latch. Five years in and I still haven't discovered the secret. I don't open the trunk in public for fear of looking stupid trying to close it on my $375K wonder car. Oh, and my buttons just went sticky last month. It's a wonder car because it makes me wonder what is wrong with the engineers at Ferrari. And don't get me started on the radio controls.

I also have this problem on a 2022 Roma. The dealer tells me they are all « stiff ».

Thank you for letting me know I'm not alone. I agree I thought something was wrong, and I'm also disappointed they can make a car like this and think that's acceptable.

Thanks for all the feedback. Glad I'm not alone. Except for this it's a spectacular car
