    I guess the 348 is unloved. Hey, look on the bright side, at least there are still good buys to be found in the Ferrari world. :)

    There was a lot going on with the low miles cars at this sale. Bonded papers, VAT due if they stayed in the UK, unknown/due service, and most of them RHD which restricts buyers in the global market from participating.

    Why would one take a risk with bonded titles on an auction?

    It is imperative that you be 100% sure you’re the legal owner of the vehicle. If someone files a successful claim against your bonded title, you will owe the surety lender the complete insured amount – which could easily be thousands of pounds. Usually it's 1.5 the value of the car also..

    I may have misread the auction description, but I believe the cars were on a temporary import bond; which is not the same as a bonded title and not uncommon when cars are brought from around the world to an auction location.

    Also not uncommon for delivery - or very low - mileage cars to not be registered and be sold on a bill of sale.

    I heard something along lines because of Brexit there are VAT type fees getting cars out of UK.

    The bond they were on was a simple exercise in bringing them into the UK without paying import tax, in case they would subsequently be exported elsewhere

    Probably my favourite is 458SA. I have two 812s at the moment and I prefer the GTS to the Superfast. In general moving away from Ferrari as I think the cars are getting too big and heavy. I quite like the size and package of the 296 but ambivalent on hybrids and EVs with the current battery technologies.
