Miami is a HIP place, all the money will be there that weekend. Fashionable, the place to be. Think about the factory's target group. Marcel Massini
the yellow Competizione that comes to be sold with the visible features... knowing that he didn't do a single centimetre on this car !
Thank you Mr. Massini for sharing that information! I contacted my dealer in Germany today and first he answered „Miami could be the presentation for the US market” but then a few hours later he called me and said “you are right! The first presentation will be in Miami but details of the event are unknown in the moment” I booked my flights immediately
So everyone has accepted it will be a V12 without hybrid assist? I think it will have it in some form. I just don't see it being a simple 812 replacement. I wonder what the 812 Competizione market value will be with prices in $2.6 million range. It seems to be going down a bit but we'll have to wait and see.
This very true. Plus the Cavalcade which is a big event for the brand too. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Like what? Which car are we talking about? The New GT car AKA the Roma2?? Or the Replacement for the 812?? Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
He is talking about the F167 we have all moved on from talking about the Roma project as this is the F167 (812 replacement thread). Roma related needs to be in the Roma category. Other wise it causes to much confusion.
The Roma project is based on the F167 platform and comes before the 812 Replacement. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Most of us have had confirm mid 2023 (Miami GP) for the 812 replacement (F167) from multiple sources. Even if the Roma project is going to be based off the F167 Platform its still a Roma and this thread is not for a Roma. As for this Roma project coming before the F167 you are the only source that has talked about that date or any details on the project. If that is the case why is the Roma Project so secret ??? day355 wont talk about it. A couple of close personal sources I have won't talk about it. Yet we know a lot about the F167 and the F250.. Which are Ferrari's 2 flagship models.
There is one and only New GT that will be the successor of 812: The F167 V12na. You seen this car in 2 different forms: the big Roma V12 (mulotipo) and the avan-series with the final 167 body. There will be a Roma facelift with very very small changes soon. But this Roma FL has nothing in common with the 167. The normal midlife update, like Portofino and Portofino M
Coming soon, a movie about a Ferrari Multiverse A Universe with a Roma 2 based on the upcoming F167. Another Universe with a Roma facelift. And so on…
Perhaps we will know something by the middle of 2024! I just keep telling my dealer to have his pen ready to scribble my name when the books open. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
So are they splitting GT duties between an entry level V8 and the proper V12…… Done before, both with station wagons here and coupe-ehhs elsewhere….. Machs nicht for me, but am curious…. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
OK, so consensus is 812 replacement will be NA V12. Could it also have battery power (i.e., for 30 mile range, or a short term HP boost)?
