My solution for the current situation in Gaza/Israel - move all civilians out of the border areas, bring Palestinian army up to one side of the border, Israeli on the other side and let ‘em shoot it out till there are no soldiers left on either side! Tough on the conscripts I know, but the only way a generation of children will get a chance to survive. No nukes allowed. People might finally realise war is never a solution.

The farm next to me and the one 2 over are owned by ex special forces guys. One a grunt and the other a Captain who led a commando unit on several tours of Afghanistan. Both wounded in action. Both question the reasons why we were involved in the middle East conflict, seeing it as useless waste of lives and resources. Both believe there are wars that need to be fought and one might be coming.
I watched this play out in the parliament yesterday live on the ABC and this has nothing to do with the govt but all to do with the high court of Australia The Greens used this ruling to try and get all "refugees" out of detention which was ruled out by the government but the full ruling was not available from the high court but that never stops the whacky right from putting their spin on it Just because the LIBs ask a question in parliament the Australian will run with anything just like that disgraceful Sky morons The High Court needs to give their full ruling as per the conversation in yesterday's question time

Just how many ‘left wing activist’ judges have you ever met? Fortunately we still have rule of law and an independant judiciary in Australia - if you don’t believe this, go and live somewhere else. Of course itis true that “the law is an ass” SOMETIMES, but let’s not go down that path of everytime a ruling goes against your wishes jumping to he ‘bias’ trope. AFAIK there has never been an accusation against any sitting judge in australia.
