Don't want to pollute Moretti's thread which is about driving peeves as this is a general peeve, but is almost everyone whom uses Gumtree a total and utter ****ing moron?

This arvo I put up an ad to get rid of an old outdoor setting we have which is a large wooden table and eight chairs.
The table is basically ****ed, but most of the chairs are ok.
I took several photos and made clear in the description what the caper was.

And, I listed it FOR FREE

Within half an hour I had seven people contact me to say "I WANT IT! Let me have it!"
One bloke called me four times and promised to be here within an hour.

Guess what?
Every single one of these imbeciles subsequently went "Oh, actually I didn't realise it wasn't in very good shape. I'm not interested any more..."

Fair dinkum, if you ever need confirmation of how ****ing stupid most people walking around are, put an ad on Gumtree...

In the end I amended the ad to say "Everyone, there's a reason it's FREE!".
You know, It's not quite in the same condition it was in the showroom when I paid $5k for it...

Anyway, finally a woman has agreed to take it whom doesn't care about the condition as she wants it for kindling or something...
