It's pretty obvious..... It all comes down to how far back they want to put the V12. Plenty of room if they move it forward which is now actually a reality based on the new trick suspension of the PS.

I love the Purosangue, I have one on order, but I’d personally burn every single Purosangue if it meant they’d make a manual, mid-engined V12.

Agree… so Saturday passed by my German Dealer. He has been spot on, unlike most dealers… always said it would be closer to April Launch than June Launch, he confirmed Miami F1 Public Launch but in April usual VIP previews. Said even though the price will be restrictive to many previous V12 line customers, demand will be off the chart and don’t even bother initially if you have not purchased a V12 line before. Priority as always to their ‘best’ but then priority to ex owners/current F12 & 812… nothing to add on engine or HP but think we all know that unless a huge curve ball..

Why should they launch another 2+2 V12 since they have just abandoned the FF?
It’s replacement is the PS which is not considered being an „SUV“ but a 2+2 within Ferrari.
The 167 (coupe and convertible) will be launched in spring 24 as mentioned here many times. Housing a V12 mild hybrid.
Deliveries from late in 2024, convertible few months later perhaps.
That’s what I have been told by my dealer many times. Anything else would surprise everyone involved in the game …

My mistake bringing that up! Someone said a V12 Roma. Which is a 2+2…. Seemed unlikely to me as well!

    Just asking for clarification.

    Never mind. It’s a discussion forum…
I am not a visionary but there are few things that would surprise me more than a V12 Roma.
I try to follow what I am informed by the dealer. Knowing it could be more in the pipeline beyond.

Still waiting for my GTS to show up, but I'm sure to buy whatever comes next. I have nothing new to add to the discussion, but enjoy making inane posts to increase my count towards improving my rank here. Plus, my wife sees me on my laptop and assumes I'm working. She's also completely oblivious to how many cars I have on order.:D

More than likely the GTS will move on...unless the F167 turns out to be a hybrid. If it's an NA V12, then I'll buy it and wait to replace it with the VS. How about you?

For the 800th time … the F167 is NOT a hybrid! Not a mild hybrid. Not an intense hybrid. Not an aggressive hybrid. Not a moderate hybrid. Not ANY kind of hybrid. FFS …

Sorry I have not had the opportunity to follow the thread continuously.
I wonder why some media do still report the F167 would be a mild Hybrid most likely.
To be clarified with my dealer who I haven’t spoken to about this recently. The preorder had already been placed though some months ago when he said it will go MH.✌️
Have perhaps to kick his a.. then…

    Keep in mind 2 things:

    1. ‘Journalists’ and other web sites … they don’t get intel from the company. They get intel from HERE. From this web site.

    2. They are likely confusing probable 48v electrical system ( powering such goodies as, hopefully, Purosangue suspension ) with mild hybrid. They are NOT the same thing. F167 will not have its engine power or drive train amplified by any electric motor.

You are right w regard to the media but if they provide information that matches with your dealer’s what would you think as an ordinary client ?
I am aware the 48V power generated may also be for consumers other than for an engine of the drive system . I.E. To speed up a turbo from low revs electrically.
As said, my dealer will hear fm me shortly.

Did your dealer say the car was going to be a hybrid? A v12 hybrid?

48V systems are usually used for semi active suspension systems and often are used as a prep for hybrid systems in later models

Yes. That was the perspective at the time the preorder was placed.
    Mild hybrid. 48V.

Have been running for years with starter/generator to support the drive for a relatively short period of time (I.e. when accelerating) or at very low speed.

Actually I was wondering why Ferrari would add another concept to the two existing ones: ICE and Plug-in Hybrid.
Only the fact it might be difficult to enhance the power output of the existing V12 significantly w/o electrical help would have been a valid reason.
However, as said here in the forum, the fact some 1000 revs or more would be possible with a new V12 gives reason enough to believe the power output w/o E-Support would be sufficient to meet Ferraris intentions.
