Could someone be so kind as to explain how to remove this part from a 458 Spider? The leather was damaged by my evil cat (which was delicious as was featured in last nights dinner stew.) The plan is to remove the part and take it to the interior people off the car. I do this for two reasons - one to keep the car safe at home, and two, to not get charged triple. Have you considered that it wasn’t evil, but actually providing you with a valid reason to upgrade those parts to carbon fiber? PS. Of course it was evil. All cats are. Ah.. edited to add that part is not the cf upgradeable piece. sorry about that, though I was on a winner there for 2minutes
Apparently, we are all much more interested in cat jokes than answering your question. I'm not sure how they come off but I'm sure some plastic interior pry tool will be needed at some point.
Not sure how to take them off either but Exotic Car Gear makes CF replacements so David would probably know of you called or emailed him.
