Watched the intro which to be fair was quite a thing, until the drivers popped out of the boxes which was just cringe Grid walk should be a nightmare for Martin
I might watch live but the grid walk will not be watched. Its outlived any usefulness over all during the Liberty 'era' of show-f1 racing. Ive minimized most of my pre-race viewing to the last 10min before the parade lap to set up the start. I watch the first interview out of the car and switchoff after at the end of the race. The repetitive nature of all the broadcasts is now just a blur. If the race is boring = 70% now, I turn off the sound and just monitor doing other things.
Yeah, 30 minutes of concert with various pop stars and 10 minutes of driver intro. I think maybe it should be more of the drivers IMO......but it's for the show. Well, it's only this 1 time. Hopefully next year is different.
Clearly they weren't thinking. They only found out a few weeks ago about the temperature predicament they find themselves in. F1 was totally pre-occupied with the show, the show and the show. That, IMO, is and will be the major failing of Liberty F1 as a whole, they go on about the show but fail to actually cater to the fans they already have; they firmly believe in finding a new group of fans to cater to. And guess what...they're not biting. So they've alienated their core group and their new group isn't interested as much as they hoped.

This surface of the new track evolving will be interesting. Alonso: No two laps of Vegas F1 weekend will be the same Fernando Alonso reckons Formula 1 drivers “will not have two laps the same” over the 2023 Las Vegas weekend due to a major track evolution factor on the new surface.

Pirelli will bring its three softest tyre compounds for the Las Vegas Grand Prix, which will take place at night and in cold temperatures. The C3 tyre will function as the hard compound choice, with the C4 as the medium and the C5 as the soft. The practice sessions will take place late in the evenings of Thursday and Friday, with qualifying potentially held in even colder conditions since it starts at midnight on Saturday morning. The race begins at 10pm local time later that day. https://www.racefans.net/2023/11/01/pirelli-pick-softest-tyres-for-super-cold-las-vegas-grand-prix/
Hi Liberty - The actual 'stars', the drivers are sending you a message!! Maybe take the 100$ bills out of your EARS and listen for once eh??
They should bring their purple banded tires-->ultra soft compound if you remember those several years ago.
I don’t know. It was impossible to see the crowd but it sounded like a lot of people…but I believe the crowd noise was produced, not live.
can somebody please post the schedule for the practice, qualifying and race in some US times format (like ET or CT)? I hate this GMT crap, especially when we change from summertime to wintertime and the UK is not on the same schedule as the US.
