My friends who live in California just left. They said they see no need to sit in the F1 goat rope of the desert. Better things to do like play golf lol. This is beyond idiotic. No track testing, no support races etc. Not worth the money spent they said. 4 other groups were checking out ahead of them. All very disappointed.

 

this problem with the covers is not new. when I remember right something similar has happened before at a new race track, but not with water valve covers but with sewer covers. unfortunately I don't remember where that was

What do you mean? We've seen it all right? It's all about ''the show''. The illusion of just how great it all is to have this race here. Cater to the lowest common denominator. So far the whole event is a massive failure and F1 is trying to pull the wool over your eyes telling you how great it is with excuses like ''food and drink services will remain active''.

This just proves that once again, F1 can't organize a piss up in a brewery. EVERYTHING is done via committee in F1. Bernie was right then, he's still correct today. F1 needs a dictator at the helm to get **** done.

And oh boy would I love to be that dictator. I wouldn't get tired endlessly banging their heads together and into walls.

Andretti might want to just NOT be in F1. Why waste the money. They cant get a practice right on the newest MOST EXPENSIVE race they own. Literally own by Liberty and the FIA Dictatorship.
