I caught the last 5-7 minutes while at the gym. Pretty exciting to see.

When I spoke to my dad today he was still reeling from the game. He hasn't sounded that excited about football in years.

    Jeeeeez the Zach Wilson guy

I’ve never seen a fan base hate a kid so much

Crazy the way that whole story has worked out. I wonder what his career would be if he was starting for the Panthers or Cardinals right now

The Jets are a Super Bowl team if Rodgers doesn’t go down.

    Hard to dispute that.

What I don't get is the Jets knew all about Wilson's character:
His Sr year at BYU - his teammates did NOT elect him as a team Captain - tells you all you need to know about him.
(and he nailed his mom's best friend - is that a plus or a negative? LOL)

When you evaluate a QB, the only thing you REALLY need to look at is how quick
he goes to his second read, and mainly third read. If you cannot get to your third read FAST,
you won't make it in the NFL.
Yeah, foot movement, arm strength - sure - but the main one by a mile is how fast
you go thru your progressions - AND how well your teammates will actually support you,
because if you don't 'have the locker room', you will fail. Zach doesn't have the locker room...

He is awful and the Jets are wasting the season. If Rodgers can come back in the next few weeks, they still have a shot of making the playoffs.

Vikings leadership at least made an effort to salvage their season. JETS, not so much. Fail.

It's a sorry state, IMO, that old line coaches like Parcells, Walsh, Belichick, O'Brien and McDaniels can't make in today's game. Every major player is entitled prima donna.

"What? You want me to read the play book? I don't read no stinkin' play book".

"What? You want me to to block down field? My Nike contract says I don't have to."

"What? You want to bench me because I'm dogging it on the field? My agent will raise holy hell with your owner, and see who he sides with".

    And ad nauseam.

And it is only going to get worse now that some college players will already be multi-millionaires before they even enter the league.

Yea, well the equalizer is still winning at least

NFL you’re a hero or a loser really fast depending on how your record shakes out

All the flash and attitude works against you really fast if you’re not getting W’s….. You can only be a Prima Donna if you’re winning…… and since football is a team game, you need the people around you to make you look good….. if you’re an ****** teammate, you can be made to look like a clown pretty quickly.

Did any of you listen to the Dan Patrick Show today ?
    He interviewed Deion Sanders.
Sanders said (in a nutshell) 'I don't want to coach in the NFL, because the players have made soooo
much money, if they don't feel like playing, if they don't like you, if they don't like a teammate, they quit on you',

    and he's 100% right.

I can't tell you how many times I see a WR give up on their routes, or not run their routes out, or
not look back to the QB to see if he's in trouble - to try and come back to help them.
Same thing with RB's swinging out of the backfield, they trot it out, they don't RUN.
I've seen too many RB's not continue downfield - and the ball sails 15 feet beyond them....

It's a shame some players don't realize how hard it is to even be on a roster.

PS - Deion also said very few players are getting actual NIL money - he said most of the
money is coming from a consortium of boosters that dump millions into a kitty, and that
gets doled out, but actual NIL money? Only a select few are getting it.
(I know, big deal, money is money)

I did listen to that on my way home from work! I do agree with Deion… but I still see him coaching the Dallas Cowboys in a few years… depends on how much longer Jerry Jones lives.

My YouTube rotates between Dan Patrick. Rich Eisen. Dan LeBatard. Bill Simmons / The Ringer. JJ Redick. And a few others. Not as much ESPN as I used to… got a bit burned out on Stephen A.

My favorite probably Rich Eisen for NFL. And Ringer and JJ Redick for NBA.

For Golf. Fore Play and Rick Shiels.

Why even mention OBrien? He's a terrible awful coach and even worse GM. He's definitely not helping Belickick at all and a stupid person to hire.

Hopefully he's getting **** on by the New Englanders.

The only one I know that (reportedly) didn't study the playbook is that CLOWN in Arizona.
Steve Kiem was a GREAT GM - until he gave Murray that huge extension, ANYONE could see he wasn't worth it,
and it cost Kiem his job.
Same with D Jones in New York, and even Jordan Love.... why is it we can see it and GM's can't?

And I totally disagree with your comment of 'every major player is entitled prima donna' because that simply is not true.
A handful of WR's are 'morons' - that I would agree with, but just about every 'major player' I have had decent conversation
with has been absolutely great to talk to. Joe Montana, Marcus Allen, Howie Long, Donald Driver, Randy Moss, I can
list a ton of guys at every position, but most of the idiots are WR's or meathead guys on defense.

Some of the rest of your quotes are a joke I am sure.

And yes, it will only get worse going forward, as soon as a guy nets about 3 million dollars,
they never have to work a day in their life if they don't want to, and most will go into coaching,
usually on the HS level, for $75-100k a year.

O'Brien was GREAT - for everyone but Houston (he was the HC).
He traded away all the important pieces, left the cupboards bare.

'Everyone' is talking about how bad Matt Canada is in Pittsburgh, and now even Ken Dorsey in Buffalo,
but nobody has said a word about O'Brien.

Am I correct that 7 games this past weekend were decided by last-second (“walk-off”) field goals? That might be a record.

Kelce arguably cost Chiefs the game with fumble and the big drop….maybe a little distracted flying around the globe in between games?

A look at the stats from MNF would suggest a KC victory by two touchdowns. Another Eagles Houdini escape. FLY EAGLES FLY

    Stats mean nothing this year.
Stats don't count 'drops' - there are a ton of 'Ifs' - if Kelce didn't fumble, if just TWO of the WR's didn't drop the ball....
Stats show AJ Brown did nothing.

Pittsburgh has been out-gained in every game, yet they are 6-3

You may not know it, but everyone in our pick em league here picked Philly.
Yes, I picked Philly to win - because I know KC has no receivers they rely on besides Travis Swift - er - Kelce.
Rumor has it Kelce - actually both of them - are already thinking of retiring, and as soon as you do that, you're already retired.

KC is really missing Tyreek Hill, and even JuJu - which reminds me of another team that dumped players
in their prime that they didn't WANT to afford - New England.
KC without Mahomes would be IDENTICAL to New England today - in every way.

I expect a Philly/Baltimore SB - unless an injury hits Jackson or Jalen.

I've been saying that for several weeks now - I absolutely DO think the Officials are controlling the point spreads
and over/under when they seem to throw a flag on certain teams' long runs, TD's, sacks, and it changes every week.
But it is VERY noticeable to me.

Yes I would love to see the eagles get back and win the superbowl

I like Jalen hurts and that team a lot… thought they were the better team in that last superbowl over the chiefs
