By the factory or by the teams racing them? Did they all have it?

It had Ohio plates "1-BL" for Bob Lindner, president of American Financial Leasing & Services Company in Cincinnati. First owner Robert D. Lindner kept 16689 from August 1973 until February 1991. Let's see if the new owner in OH will add the U.S. side marker lights again.

Can confirm. Among other things, it was the poster (also represented on a t-shirt) car for the Concours there. Now in Ault Park, back in those days it was held in Indian Hill. IIRC, 16689 was poster car for the 7th year of the event.

I really have no idea, but as 3705 was delivered to Le Mans right after completion, it must have been prepared for the race at the factory as agreed with the customer. Note also tail lights modified to meet Le Mans rule book. Tail lights installed on the dished rear panel were not visible from the side, so they needed to be raised.

I think I am mistaken and that it was the 5th year poster and t-shirt car. Not that it matters, but it may help the new owner track down the necessary swag.

IIRC (and I may not), what you see is either not a real Nembo body or it is a real Nembo, but it is no longer on the chassis it was installed on in period.
