Lock n swap. May have well timed the cams or at least verified while there. Maybe they did and it was left on the cutting room floor.

The video gave the impression that they were using the marks on the cams alone. It will be interesting to see what happens when they start the engine.

It was only a short edited video.
Besides not every one over thinks the process. I'm sure it will start and run as it should.

Doesn't the F355 come standard with turn indicators? :D

Episode 2 (see post 100 for first one)

I guess these guys don't bother reading the (YouTube) comments otherwise they would have known their oil pressure terminals were swapped.

The guys did a pretty good job with this car so far. Someone posted in the comments section about changing a few other parts when they had the engine apart. Of course that would be after the video was posted. So it might have been too late to change anything.

This guy says "vibes" and "literally" a lot. But he can drive a manual, so I guess all hope isn't lost.

He’s trying to put silver 355’s back on the map. Maybe he deserves a lil credit ;)

Or the clutch and gear selector. I mean, there is 100’s of threads on FChat that would do a lot to inform them.

Tough car to learn to wrench on.

Every time I see amateurs topping up the engine oil on a Ferrari, I get sweaty palms.

The lack of knowledge on display in this video was beyond cringe. The guys can drive but you can tell they’ve done next to no googling on these cars…

Also if they respray that green (my fave spec) for f$&@?!ng yellow I’ll lose my mind

I think yellow looks great on an F355...

I happen to agree having once owned an MGB in British Racing Green.

A lot of Challenge cars were yellow for better visibility on the track.

Not for nothing but they've done a lot of work to that car in a short amount of time and got it back to almost fully operational. Mostly cosmetics left as long as the gearbox smooths out when warm.

They definitely have a wizard in the background that did their research but the two guys making content have barely read anything on this car and then are deciding to make a video about the thing.

Right, Pete. They treated that spider like a car and not some sacrosanct reliquary. There was plenty of put-on bravado for entertainment purposes but they went about their work in an intuitive fashion.

I hope the gear box smooths out when warm too. As far as cosmetics, I agree with Jonathan (Johnnieblack115) that they should just respray the bumper and keep that car that beautiful shade of green.
