I am currently doing a full 355 engine/trans/ rear craddle swap into my 348 and I'm looking to see if anyone has the engine out of their 355 right now or a 355 bare chassis and can provide me with a couple pictures I need. As I'm figuring out the few hurdles I have it would be really helpful to have a a reference to compare to, thanks

thanks that's very helpful, are these old or is this current? Basically the 2 areas I need pictures of are where the shift linkage goes through the frame/ fuel tank which I can see in those and is very helpful but if the picture was a little closer on just that spot that would be incredible, the other is above the shocks where the cradle bolts to the frame thanks

Really I looked through all his threads and couldn't find anything about it... he did a full 355 rear cradle, engine, and 6 speed in a 348?

Bruce is not one to boast so he did not do any post on that conversion, a 345, he called it.

Interesting I've never heard of any 355 swapped 348 existing, is there any pictures or anything of it? Would definitely be interested to see how everything was done

I'm doing one now and it is almost complete. You will not be able to install the 355 cradle into the 348, the frame mountings are all different and the track is too wide. What i have done is I have modified the cradle to fit the 355 engine and gearbox and you most likely need a 355 sitting next to your car to measure everything that you need. I will post some pics soon!

I do know that, I've already test fit cradle and am currently working on that, hopefully today or tomorrow will have cradle bolted in

@angelo puglisi full F355 rear craddle bolted into my 348, still need to drop it back out to weld the supports back in and repaint, but it is bolted in, just takes a little cutting, small amount of welding, and a little persuasion

Assume you work at Cauley - that’s where the work was done.

Yes thoughtbit looked like Cauley but I don't work there. My 308 happens to be there right now.
