Is this the same car that was on BAT a week or two ago?

    Good day All,

This why I always try and include a car's chassis or VIN number... as then it allows tracking and/or documenting a particular car's history. On my side, I also include the VIN/Chassis number in the thread's title as well, as this allows for a quick and easy visual search through recent threads.

    Cheers,

    Sam

That was a great price for the 412. I think the red looks great on the 412 - better than it does on the 400/365 GT4 2+2 somehow - the subtle updates on the 412 seem to suit the red paint.

Because they lack the styling that would more readily identified as a Ferrari. They look like a garden variety Euro coupe.

I couldn't agree with you less! I believe there are alot of Tifosi on this forum that will disagree with your comment.

    Good day Theruse,

I cannot speak for edstorer, but I read his comment differently in the sense that the 365/400/412 styling is more understated than a lot of other models and so is not immediately identifiable as being a Ferrari. When I have shown my 365 GT4 2+2 to others with many being non Ferrari owners, they commented that they never saw the model before and did not realize that it was a Ferrari. For those in the "know", they totally "get" the model and appreciate its subtleness, elegance, and that it is an amazing model and indeed a Ferrari through and through.

    Cheers,

    Sam

4 seater Ferraris have always been one of the most expensive models when new, and the most to lose value as well.

When new, the 365 GT4 was more expensive than a Daytona, same goes for the 456/612 and all other 4 seater Ferraris that followed.
