No, I agree. Mexico was a desperate attempt to impress and it backfired badly, I must say. Checo cracked under pressure, because he is totally denigrated by people around him.
Sainz provides squat......without Santander he wouldn't even be at Ferrari....lets see how it goes next year without a car made for his likings...
Vasseur just stated they will say nothing about our 2024 car. Low profile. Good mindset I have to say.
Come on Pedro, let's be honest for a while: he saved the honor of the Scuderia this year with a win. What more could you ask? Rgds
I’m not sure how can it be insulting to be offered a well paid chance of driving at Scuderia Ferrari. We haven’t done very brightly lately but we are still what no other has been. And Carlos has not reminded us of Senna either. And sings awfully Sade’s classic “smooth operator”
Slightly off topic but nice to see Prost wearing Ferrari colors and driving the glorious V12-powered, Nichols designed 643. Great looking—and sounding—car that showed some promise in a few races but was beset by reliability issues: https://x.com/ferrarif1fra/status/1733956176612610478?s=46&t=RJY8rq6TkNRY5rN71eTA2g Would like to see him have an ambassador type role at Ferrari, especially since he was slagged off by Alpine. Note that his helmet is signed off to ‘Fred’, so who knows?! As for this being the car Prost is known to have called a ‘truck’, this comment was only in reference to its behaviour at the Japanese GP due to issues with the car. Per Autosport: “The infamous truck reference is not quite what it seems, as a look at AUTOSPORT's report of the Japanese GP reveals. "After only a few laps, Alain reported, the shock absorbers gave up completely and the steering was ridiculously heavy," wrote Nigel Roebuck. Then came the killer quote... "It was like a horrible truck to drive," said Prost. "No pleasure at all." Now, this is slightly different to generically referring to the car as a truck.”
I clearly remember this car and period. 1991 was a winless year for Ferrari. Prost would have deserved so much the 1990 WDC. Absolutely gorgeous V12/5valves sound but unfortunately for us Newey already delivered this same year the FW14 for Williams.. A new era.
Perhaps to try and win on his own, without having to screw Charles race for it....apart from that, all is good, but i don't think he's a good fit for Ferrari...
If Leclerc had outqualified Sainz, then it would have been him the one who screwed his team mate´s race. Timing is everything in this life. Anyway, why so much fuss. Leclerc finished ahead in the championship anyway. Personally I couldn´t care less about wich Ferrari driver did this or that, but in the end everybody had something to celebrate.
If we come to 2024 without... the mistakes we did in 2023, such as faulty components leading to DNFs, bad strategy, and driver's errors...., I think it would be a great way to start.
Exactly. Low hanging fruit. Minimize the screw ups. The component failure thing is unacceptable. Run everything through a series like the DOD does or worse. 1000$ sensor kills a whole season.
Guys, we were 30 seconds down at almost every race, some components and better pit stops are not going to be enough.
A solid race car, a great ICE and power unit, inteligent strategy, and a focused and happy Charles.... and we have a chance....as long as FIA allow us to win. And of course.... if the Toto's play fair and square.... lol
BTW....I will race my Ferrari built 308 street car....with any....I mean ANY Red Bull built street car of their choice.....anytime , anywhere.... oh wait.... RB never built anything....maybe some Alumunium cans with Cafeinated beverages inside....what a joke they are.

A fantastic team of mercenaries.
The joke is everyone else trying to compete with RedBull. Don't they have 2 teams in F1? If so, that's more than any other team currently on the grid. How many people do both teams employ? Don't they have one of the best F1 aero designers in F1? Certainly Mercedes and Ferrari couldn't get him to work for either company. Don't RedBull promote F1 throughout the globe? More so than any other team? A joke? I think not. I doubt it.
But they do it anyways.....at their own expense. It's fun for them and it promotes not just F1 but their brand as well. From a marketing standpoint, that's "killing 2 birds with one stone."
