GB also got shafted with the DPI call on Ballentine late in the fourth quarter. There was certainly hand-checking going on during the route, but the receiver was not impeded, and the ball was overthrown by a fair amount (not catchable in any event). Suffice it to say the refs managed to all around suck with their calls and no calls. I do prefer however that refs don’t fully change the outcome of a game with a DPI on a play like MVS’ throw. To me those type of plays should be called similarly to the contact they allow in a Hail Mary play because more often than not the intent of the play is to hunt for those big gain flags than it is to get a completion IMO.
no true No. 1 this year. Stroud is elevating the talent around him and he also had one of his best games this season without his top receiver, Nico Collins, against the Bengals - The Athletic
Mahomes's meltdown after the game yesterday was absolutely the funniest thing I've seen this year. He tells Josh Allen that it was the worst fu**ing call ever". The 2022 playoff Bengals disagree with him The 2022 Raiders disagree with him The 2020 playoff Browns disagree with him The 2019 playoff Titans disagree with him The 2019 SB SF 49ers disagree with him The list goes on but, you get the jist.....
and some of the comments were just as funny "maybe Taylor Swift will sing him a song 'cry me a river'..."
I've had Nico on all my fantasy teams for over a year, he's a big-bodied fast guy that can separate - AND catch the ball, and there are not many of those. That is one thing KC does not have. I'm a fan of KC, and I am outside of KC, and he was so blatantly offsides you couldn't NOT call it. Teams were also warned before the season started they were going to be watching for this a lot more, remember the RT for KC in the first 2-3 games? They were warned. I'd bet you Toney won't be back with KC next year, and neither should MVS <<< that clown NEVER should have been signed in the first place - If Aaron Rodgers didn't want him back in GB in 2022 that SHOULD have told you something. KC is suffering from the SAME thing other 'dynasties' have had - they cannot afford the $$$ to keep it together. Remember that awesome Seattle team 10-12 years ago? AND in 1-2-3 years SF and Philly will have the same fate, and then Dallas in about 4 years, each 'dynasty' lasts 4-5 years from begin to end, Buffalo is past theirs today... If KC wants to keep it going, they MUST add one of the top WR's that will be a FA after this season, and MOST of them won't work/is not worth the money - or the headaches. KC could use: Mike Evans Tee Higgins Pittman - maybe DJ Chark - maybe Noah Brown - maybe Anyone else I would not touch, I'd draft multiple WR's - one HAS to work, right? This isn't Belichick drafting, it's Andy Reid...
Terry McCauley also said this. He even provided the stat that it's been called 11 times this year as opposed to twice all of last year.
I just want them to be consistent. If you are going to call it (ANYTHING), call it all game long, don't wait until the last 8 minutes.
It was a joke of course. The dude on the actual play was so far offsides the ref would have been fired if he didn't call it. That's been established. The Chiefs are a bunch of whiners. The officiating this year has been awful across the board. The Chiefs need to grow up and get over it. The Packers were flagged for unnecessary roughness for touching MaHomes while he was running...in bounds. *sigh* Remember that facemask penalty against the Chiefs on Jordan Love when the Chiefs were in Green Bay? Yea...never called. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I know you were kidding.... As far as the LEGAL hit on Mahomes, I believe the officials knew they screwed up, and ignored the mugging of MVS a few plays later as a 'make up/get even' non-call. I don't see a team in the AFC of even having a prayer in the Super Bowl, it's going to be an NFC blowout on the order of 41-13 or something like that. UNLESS a BIG injury hits SF, Phil and Dallas. And Philly better wake up.
Every reasonable football fan understands there are officiating mistakes both ways throughout the game, but only the homer Chiefs fans think they got hosed. The reason Mahomes and Reid are being sore losers about it is because they are used to getting bailed out by the referees, and this time when the referee actually got it right they are acting like spoiled brats.
They got creamed in Dallas, and Seattle almost won in Dallas, and now we have Philly going TO Seattle this Sunday, this can be a very interesting game... I'm guessing Geno Smith will be playing, the question is WHICH Geno Smith will show up.

As long as they don't trot out Dan Pastorini and Earl Campbell, I'm not sure I care. I will say I am surprised the League approved of this, as they have to approve every uniform or piece of uniform...
