When Australia made the greatest commercials……….must’ve been the same agency that did those silver Sterling cigarette advertisements/commercials with the 308! I loved this commercial when it was on TV during 1983-84.
I did that drive earlier this year with Amanda on the way to Stresa , as we crossed the bridge she closed her eyes ...a must-drive.
There so many of those mountain roads we did one from St Moritz towards Zurich , the 1st 100kms was fantastic winding ,climbing thick fog ,little towns /
Tonya Bird looked amazing in that commercial - and if my memory serves me correctly, didn’t she once owned or drove around in a 246 GTS? Although it could’ve been some other Australian model.
The model in the Dino 246 GTS, dark blue with chairs and flares was killed in a car crash, her boyfriend was driving, and we knew the family very well . Train wreck family .
