    There is a reason that cars get larger. Crumple zones, more equipment, larger passenger compartments etc. My E-Type feels tiny, but I would die in a fireball, if I were to crash; easy enough with its modest road holding and lack of safety features.

    Well, that P4 was a race car, it was small even for the 60s standards. A modern prototype also looks very low when they pass a GT car on track.

    I wonder if the SP3 client came up with Celeste Trevi for his build? Then Ferrari 'borrowed' that paint color for the Roma Spider intro. Ferrari tends to restrict new intro paint offerings to the new model only. This Celeste Trevi was locked in quite a while ago to be used on his SP3 build.

    Perhaps that rule about a new color on a debut model only applies to standard production and not Icona? Or perhaps the color was developed some time ago, never used, and the client happened upon it… or perhaps something else, but in any event, it came out really nicely. Congratulations to the lucky new owner!

    I think that given the proliferation in custom colours and TM cars it's probably getting difficult for Ferrari to manage all of this tightly. I believe Ferrari also now has the right to change the name of the colours after a few years like they did with Grigio Coburn.
