We've all been there sold a car that you put your heart and soul into been with you for a long time thought it was a good idea to sell and now looking to get it back or at least know its condition and where abouts.

What do you guys recommend as a good way to achieve the find...Yes I know there are many online sites out there I'm asking from personal experience to avoid the disappointment.

    Thanks in advance.

I’ve thought I had a sentimental connection with vehicles after a they’ve been sold off. It’s nonsense. Hemmings. Buy a similar model.

If it’s an enthusiast car, you might post a “wanted” ad on the marque specialty site — e.g. Rennlist for Porsche, FChat for Ferrari, etc.

Or contact the person or business that facilitated the sale.
