Is there a easy way to clean it? There is the pan and a lateral cover with sensors and the pump... What's the short way here? (Without removing the engine :)

I could be wrong but I've never heard of a "gearbox filter" on our cars.

It's a screen before the pump

You mean the oil-pan? In the gearbox there is no filter.

"Screen" is a more accurate description than "filter". Item 73 here:

Unless your gearbox "grenades", I doubt it would need servicing/cleaning. Of course, if you had the powerplant out for some other reason, wouldn't hurt to inspect/clean.

It's analogous to the screen of the engine oil pick-up tube -- just meant to prevent any big pieces from getting ingested by the (gear) oil pump. No one ever cleans the screen of the engine oil pick-up tube as a normal service item ;).

Why do you need to access it? (My guess would be "probably not easy" -- but I have never tried to do it myself insitu.)

my gearbox had a synch strut lost, and could find 90% of the pieces, i'm sure the rest 10% is in the screen filter.

The screen is cleaned every time the transmission is rebuilt.
The only reason it exists is to catch the pieces of a transmission destroying itself from going through the oil pump and speeding up the process.
Engine oil pumps have screens too. How often do we service them?
