Just finished my first night shift this morning.

Just finished warming the Ferrari up out front.

Just about to take it for a drive, but couldn't be ****ed now, too tired lol

The oil won't get hot enough at idle, and you should get it really hot, to boil off combustion byproducts, which are worse on start up. Go take it out for 30-40 minutes.

 

When I first got the 308 my old mechanic told me ‘never start the car unless you’re going to run it for an hour’... Rare that I do less.
Boy I wish I could have cloned Johnny - never had mechanical dramas while he was around.

 

I had it running at idle for around an hour lol.

Close enough was good enough yesterday.

Will take it for a good drive on days off next weekened, too tired this week so far.

I 1st hit the water as a 3/4 year old and have been swimming ever since.

Both my parents were lifesavers at the Noose Heads Surf Club SC QLD in the early 50s . So swimming is in my blood line
