F8 perfecto
Right. A wonderful drive feeling, perfect engine and a cockpit which is not as overloaded as a computerized control center.
I stopped by Prestige Imports in Miami yesterday to check out their inventory. I enjoyed perusing their extensive exotic car inventory, kicking a few tires along the way. Definitely some serious eye candy, but nothing gets my attention more than the beauty and understated elegance of the F8.
Hi everyone, first time poster, first time Owner. Based in the Netherlands. I bought the F8 in November. I wanted to buy a new car without going too crazy. so I looked at Porsche Taycan which was a real let down compared to my Tesla M3 Performance (especially when you consider the price. Then I drove a 992 GTS which I liked, but to be honest I never was a Porsche guy.... At the same time I saw some pictures and videos of Ferrari Roma which looked like a "sensible" Ferrari and was not a "look at me driving a Ferrari" type of car to me. And it looked like something that James Bond would drive, so that was not a bad thing. Then I actually drove the car and didn't quite like it. Too sensible maybe. At the same day I drove a F12 and a 488 as well. After negotiating a final price for a F12 with the Ferrari dealer on a Saturday I told him to let me confirm on Monday. As I was still not 100% sure about it, especially because everyone who saw the pictures would say that 488 and Roma looked better. On Sunday this one popped up at another Ferrari dealer. I test drove it on Wednesday and bought it after the test drive. An impulse buy The car doesn't have parking sensors in the front, doesn't have a camera in the back and doesn't have a lift. So besides parking it being an issue, you can actually daily drive it (which I've been more or less doing). Oh and it has every single carbon fiber option that you could have. However, it didn't start all smooth and nice. The week that I could finally (5 weeks after signing the papers) pick it up, it was raining and the temperatures were around freezing point (zero degrees Celsius) in the Netherlands the whole week. I haven't noticed that the tires were Micheline's super cup2.....so I was driving the car like an old grandma as the tail would shake with every little acceleration despite being in the wet model. Changed the tires and have winter shoes on them, through Ferrari (which looking at the price I think it was a mistake?)....now I can actually drive this baby and get my self-esteem back as I was seriously starting to doubt my (non-existing) driving skills. I really don't like the wheels, or the official Ferrari alternatives that I can get, so any recommendations would be more than welcome. I knew that the sound would be a let down, but even compared to my BMW Z4 35si, it's very subdued. So I've asked Ferrari to install the valve control kit on it. They recommend not to touch the exhaust because, beside the warranty getting void, the compressors would be damaged. Is that true?? I'm also thinking about doing a full PPF, don't know if it's worth it or not as I will drive the car through the year but I'm not really into washing my cars Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

sounds like you accidentally chose the best car by far of all the ones you mentioned.... and it seems you did it without much knowledge at all so congrats on that. The F8 wheel are great looking wheels to me, leave the exhaust alone and of course, paint correct, PPF and ceramic the car.
Thank you and the same to you Haha true, I spent a week or two reading these forums and watching all the YouTube videos on F12 and F8. I'm still thinking about the F12 though Thanks Martin
I had a great experience buying a 488 from them a few years ago. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Prestige is a quality dealer. They are definitely top 3 to buy from along with The Collection and Ferrari Ft. Lauderdale. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
not my experience...looked at 488 from them recently and after the run around bought a car unseen from out of state without an issue.
Congratulations and welcome to the forum. I also picked up mine Oct 1. Couldn’t be happier. Your spec looks very nice indeed! Enjoy! Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
