True. So why the length? The point of a TTV6 is to shorten the car for better agility. Seems to suggest the worst of all worlds…which we know it won’t be.
Length is for wheel base and stability. Also don’t forget the battery takes a lot of space so as transmission. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
The V6 allowed the 296 to have a shorter wheelbase, compared to the V8s, but this is a totally different concept. An elongated body has aero advantages, hence the longtail concept of some McLarens.
If 499 customer car is there for softening the reception of v6 supercar, yes there is possibility. Rather high one. Then it is all about design and badge. Exciting to see how Ferrari will play this time. Porsche is going electric Ferrari is doing V6 Then what Mclaren is doing? Hope they use Judd V10 from Solus GT and small pack hybrid from Artura and make 1300 kg RWD car. That will be unique. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Unfortunately McLaren appears little bit lost in terms of product. Ferrari found midway and Porsche sold his soul to the devil
