I am not a fan of Valkyrie - 'cause besides the screaming Cosworth's V12, it has not much appeal to me.
Neither the looks, usability or the name ;) which promises to take you to the hall of the fame after death(-crash) ;-P

And still, I prefer Ferrari V12s packaged in Ferrari body (bar the unfortunate Purosangue, of course), but it kind of belongs to a different topic (aka 812 Replacement) since we know that LaFerrari successor will be using V6 hybrid technology. Surely I don't like that path for a Ferrari hypercar, but that is the sign of the upcoming times.

I am not worried at all about F250's lap time. The new hypercar will have a few advantages from the very start of the project, over the older, heavier, less advanced(e.g. lack of active aero) and less powerful (?) SF90XX "Stradale". That should be enough to beat 1:17.3 time without resorting to any obscure trickery with the rubber.

They're all going to fight to buy a 3 million V6... It's strange to me
In the not-so-distant past, the engine, its nobility, was the heart and soul of a Ferrari...

A good friend of mine is a VVVIP customer (Icona's, F1 cars) he was told that the new LaF would be available in similar numbers as the recent 812C....
    Not sure about that rumour....

You mean 1600 cars (812 C coupe and Aperta)? Not likely.
I expect the coupe F250 to be offered jn similar numbers to the 812 Comp Aperta

Yeah, ... a bit. But there are also two highly anticipated premieres of 2024, the F167 :) and F250.

You can always stick with your favourite until now, Ferrari model, enjoy it like you've never done before, and comfortably forget about the strange ringing in your head - the slogan, that the best Ferrari (for you) is always the next one.

When I think about it in a greater context, it comes to my mind that the richest people are not those who possess the most of everything, but those who appreciate the most, what they have (including things the money cannot buy).

Ok, back to the topic :)

Haven't we already know the numbers from the leaked image?
    599 Coupes, 199 Spiders plus 30 XX.

Although I don't understand why they plan to offer the XX version; considering that they have recently unveiled 499P Modificata which logically should be faster than XX version of F250.

The 499P Modificata isn't a successor to the FXX-K. Rather, it creates a new category (Sport Prototype) in their client tracking program, which until now consisted of F1 and XX. The nature of the 499 program—requirements in terms of physical ability, car cost, running costs—will be very different from XX, which is significantly more accessible on all fronts. So a next XX car makes sense.

I guess you feel the same way about the F40. Fret to ask what you think of the 5+ million 499P Modificata, with its V6...

They should have made a 499 Stradale.

Nobody would give a **** about the V6.

It would be useless as a road car. Probably can't be made road legal anyway.

It leaves me totally cold...just an upgraded 296 engine !
comparing a V6 to the V12 of the Valkyrie is objectively impossible... it's like comparing Seiko to Rolex.

Even though I agree that the N/A V12 is the King of engines, counting a car's merit on its cylinder count is non-nonsensical. Its performance and feel is what matters.

Read again, Enzo is 1.22.3, meaning the LaFerrari beats it by 2.6s. You added the 2.6 on to the Enzo’s time I quoted of 1.22.3 to get 1.24.9 for some reason.

It sounds very logical to me. They made around 1300 F40s. The F250 is a very interesting example. All the Hyper cars since the Enzo’s launch basically grew in value. Before that though, they didn’t. F40 went mad then crashed, F50 could have been bought for half its retail at a certain point. It is possible to overdo things and $3m with 1,000 plus coupe and Aperta would certainly test that. If you’re Ferrari though, to see so many customers/collectors/flippers buy a car and then sell it for up to four times what they paid says you got something wrong. Don’t think they will do that again.

The thing that could support this plan is if the product is just spectacular. Admittedly a V6 doesn’t offer encouragement but they could still knock it out of the park and in this case there will be plenty more people wanting to buy the car than 1000+, even at $3m.

Drive an LF or F 50 and then after a 296 and we talk about it again, because the base of 250 is this one !
I think you'll quickly realize that sensations have nothing to do with each other...

    That's an even bigger porker.
Ferrari should have aimed to make something similar to the Valkyrie, using a NA V12, but much better looking and lighter weight.
