Something crazy strange happend to me yesterday, i have searched for the correct flat top screwdriver for my 1979 308gtb tool setup, i found on on internet for 500£(580 euro+ shipping), crasy expensive so cant buy that, many hours searching for this thinner flat screwdriver and have given up, i have never owned a Ferrari before.

Anyway my tool set had 3 original orange screwdriver and 1 yellow one, i have a lot of old screwdrivers and tools from the era of my father and also old screwdrivers that i bought on auctions for fun, you know a toolbox for 10£. Image Unavailable, Please Login , when i was in the garage i was looking for a screwdriver for some work im gonna do, and suddenly the correct ferrari screwdriver popped up infront off me, flat top, hexed bottom with correct length and everything!!??....

Was kind of in chock!!, HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE, first i tought, man im getting old and confused, how in the heck can i leave one of this screwdrivers in the garage!!!, i went in to house to check the tool roll and there it was 3 orange and 1 yellow, i still couldent belive my eyes, almost spooky.. Image Unavailable, Please Login , so now my tool set is complete. Image Unavailable, Please Login

Or is the this storyline you document and present to your significant other rather than admit you spent the £500 on a screwdriver;)

If that were me I would have given up on completing the set, sold the three orange handles that I had for some unreasonably cheap price on ebay (as that week no one was bidding on Ferrari toolkit stuff but no one sent me the memo) then the day after I shipped them I would have discovered the fourth orange handle that would have competed my set [emoji38]

So is there an implication in there about his current lifetime?

Well, im about to think that would bean a better idea, i needed the varning triangle, expensive for a pile of crap, i needed the toolroll for the jack, bought a komplett set with jack and tools, only to have the bag, so this start to be expensive. now i need to sell the tools/jack..:D the only thing i need now is the battery lift strap, but that strap dident come in the tool set for 1979 euro car, but want one anyway, easyer to take the battery out.

The warning triangle is the least expensive of all "3x8" tools: the different "Kotaplastik" triangles can usually be had for between 50 and 80 euros from Italian sellers.
They were very common for a lot of cars in the seventies, my Dad's light truck 1977 Renault "Estafette" had one that I kept; it's exactly the same than the one from the 328...
Some "3x8" tools are rare and difficult to find, notably the screwdrivers, but not the warning triangle. Do your homework beforehand, and do not overpay, and do not get fooled; many very expensive sites do not even know that 308s and 328s do not have the same spark plug tool for instance, as the 328 one is smaller (328s have smaller plugs - 12mm - than 308s - 14mm). They sell you both indifferently...

I always wonder why those cheap India made screwdrivers that sold in all cheap stores are now so rare and so expensive. They were junk back then and are still junk.
