I’ve been having that happen intermittently. I think it’s related to a weak battery and/or poor charging. How old is your battery?

In my 8 years of 458 ownership 95% of electrical gremlins were caused by a battery that either needed charging or replacement.
Kind of funny that a new battery will be the least expensive thing you purchase for the 458.

Probably because you can buy an American replacement :)

Happened on my 2013. Only intermittently worked. $10k to fix. I said forget it and used it as a Speedometer only.

Yes, I always bought interstate batteries from Ferrari dealer in my F430’s— don’t know why there’s so much talk on here about miracle, mystery, lithium, magic, no gravity, special, 9 million dollar batteries etc— the interstates would last a couple years and were perfectly fine.— will see what interstate or whoever has when and if my F8 battery goes.

This happened to my 458. I believe a battery disconnect and reset corrected the problem but it was with a good battery. Dealer did it. (duh)

My. Radio quit working. I replaced the car battery thinking that might be the cause. That didn’t fix it. Later I started the car and noticed the message on the right screen about it doing certain things while driving. There is a bar at the bottom of the screen saying “accept”. I pushed the joystick and the radio came on. Has worked ever since. Reset???
