Found this nearby, wish my travel agent had been aware. Not really, we like nice, but we are not included to spend 5k per night, although we only walk this earth once. https://www.otahuna.co.nz/
Really very nice not crowded, weather has been overcast, rain yesterday but clearing. Just beautiful. At Sumner Beach now. Had a private tour of downtown plus gardens yesterday. And loved the Air Force Museum of New Zealand was spectacular. And what a restoration shop, lighting was incredible. It rotated from dusk to dawn every five minutes.
A few more, lighting was spectacular. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Getting ready for our flight training. If you are a pilot, it's cool to find your local Gereral Aviation school and do a flight. Like sightseeing of an active kind, plus you get some exotic locals in your flight log. Note the 380, that was impressive. Hi Juan If the weather plays it's part you will really enjoy the trip in the sounds in a couple of days time. Looks like you got see some of Christchurch, safe travels.
Another 'if it's possible' for Cairns - take the historic Kuranda Railway train up to Kuranda , the waterfalls at the top should be spectacular at present. Come back down via the cable car (spectacular view outover the Coral Sea and you can do some short rainforest walks at stops along the way).
If you wish to do the cable car and the vintage train back from Kuranda, book Now ,regarding Kuranda, its not like it was 30 years ago ,now it's a tourist snail trail with drunk Aborigines on every corner A big Pass .this time of the year the Coral Sea will be a hazzy view so cable car up ,train down
I don’t think the train is running atm because of damage from the cyclone? Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Back when Chloe was living in Cairns in 2018 we would regularly drive to Kuranda to check out the falls and have a bite at a place there that does the most delicious crepes I’ve had in my life. Didn’t seem like there was much wrong with the place then, although like everywhere in FNQ quite touristy.
