Incorrect. Replay shows that the official ANNOUNCED 70 was reporting NOT 68. Thats why 70 was COVERED and 68 was ignored. You have to let the other team know via PA announcement that a person is eligible. DO you really think Dallas wouldve not covered 68 if he they thought he was eligible. BTW the tripping call on the previous Dallas series ALLOWED Detroit to have that drive. It was called on Dallas and NOT Detroit as replay clearly showed it should have been. So its all moot.

And there’s your reason for making the playoffs…rookie QB powers below avg team pre-season to greatness. Likely ROTY.
QB matters even in a team sport. No other position is worth as many pts per game.

C.J. Stroud, Texans hang on to beat Colts, clinch playoff berth

Dallas is a different story.. anything less than a Super Bowl victory is still a failure for them.. Jerry had said that he wants one more before his years run out…

Meddling owner who was nothing on the field w/o the brilliant coach. But his biz sense is exceptional.

Like Minnesota last season - won ALL the one-score games.

I still think Dallas screwed up by not going after Derrick Henry before the trade deadline,
they still don't have a decent ground game.

When do you think people will realize a 'thousand yard Rusher or Receiver' means little anymore?
    That's just 59 yards a game over 17 games...

It meant something in 12 and maybe 14 game seasons, but not anymore.

    12 game season - 84 yards a game,
    14 game - 72 yards
    16 - 63 yards

    2022 17 game season had 30 2,000+ yard passers, one was 5,000, eight were 4,000+, 16 1,000 yard runners, 22 1,000 yard receivers,

    2019 16 game season: 29 2,000 yard passers - broken down:, one was 5,000, ten had 4,000, 14 3,000, 4 had 2,000+,
    16 1,000 runners, 29 1,000 yard receivers

1976 14 game season - one 3,000 yard passer, eleven 2,000 yard passers, twelve 1,000 runners, THREE 1,000 yard receivers

1972 12 game season - ten 2,000 yard passers, ten 1,000 yard runners, TWO 1,000 yard receivers!

“The Prince” - didnt earn the nickname or the early praise. Played poorly again, season over for Jags and Trevor.

Arthur Smith cursing out Dennis Allen….how about drafting a franchise QB instead of luxury O weapon picks years in a row…the RB and the TE but you had no QB. And, do your job as the HC and stop the Saints.

Back when they first went to 16-game seasons, I suggested that the new benchmark should be 1200 yards, not 1000.

    It's 17 games, it should be 1500 now, that's only 89 a game.

Hell *I* could get 59 a game today.... well, not really, but you know what I mean...

Yeah, I wondered that too, he throws pics, but he REALLY commits stupid fumbles,
but wht I don't like is his demeanor after turning the ball over, his body language is
like it's 'no big deal', and he does it again, over and over and over - and he has a
GREAT receiving corp - Ridley, Kirk, Jones, Engram, Etienne.
It just seems like that whole group is not on the 'same page'.... and it's EVERY game.

I saw that too, I'm scared the whole league is going to divy up like that,
Prime has half their games streaming-only on Thursday night (and half are also on OTA TV),
but I think it's STUPID to have ANY playoff game 'streaming-only'....

BUT, it's KC, they suck anyway, this year. (and again, I LIKE KC)

I remember when local blackouts were in effect. Sometimes the owners or local benefactors would buy up the remaining seats so that the blackout would be lifted. That happened frequently when the Dolphins played in the Orange Bowl.

The local tv station would frequently buy the unsold tickets because the advertising revenue from the broadcast was greater than the cost of the tickets,
