I've been redoing the Brakes & installing a Kline Exhaust + 100 Cel Cats.
Exhaust & the Controller are all in & functioning.
FYI Bumper Removal is NOT necessary to install the Kline, I just loosened & pulled back just enough to Roll the Exhaust Back End / Cross Pipe All in one assembly in.
I had the Heat Shield & Back Wheel Liner off at that step.

My problem is the 13mm Spring Bolts ( I think I've seen Videos where they call them Clicker Bolts???)
There is 3 on Each Cat to Manifold Connection.
I have a lift & having the 2 facing the Bottom go well, but then I cannot get a 13mm wrench or Socket to stay on & get them to Torque up to show any threads to match the other 2...
I am Gonna try loosening the other 2 & tighten the top 1st, then maybe I can roll that up to the top since it'll be the only tight bolt. That's the Plan this weekend & my Final Step to calling this project done.

So before trying my new Plan I was wondering if anyone had any experience with these?
I have a Cordless 90 Ratchet, all kinds of Tools, impacts, etc... but struggling with these.
    Mine is a 2007 Spider

On the oem setup you have to get the flange in the right place, then use a 1/4 drive socket and an open ender, bring the bolt threads to the end of the nut only

You may be overtightening the bottom 2

I found I was not able to tighten anywhere near the 75Nm of the OEM brackets due to the flat plate flange vs knurled OEM type

They are not nearly as strong and if you tighten the bottom ones, it will angle the flange so the top one won't go in

Hand thread them all first, then tighten in succession just until the fast flange starts to give

    Mentioned it here

Good luck let us know how it goes

These were a little bit of a pain when I put test pipes on with my brother around a month ago.

Having two people helped with angling the exit side up or down to take pressure off the third bolt. I got a single thread or two on the first two bolts and then did the same with the third while having my brother angle the pipe to help close the gap between the flanges. It’s a pain, but doable. Good luck.

Just put my 100cell cats on a few months ago. No need to tighten those bolts up too tight. Just enough to seal on those donut gaskets.

you can always go back and tighten them some more if you have a leak. If you tighten them too tightly they will deform the mounting plate.

I put all 3 nuts in and then would spin the mounting plates around until I got them in a spot where I could access all the nuts and bolts. Hand tools are all you need!

You need a box end wrench on one side and then both a deep welled and a standard socket with several different extension lengths for the other side.

It's tricky but you can get to all 3 - usually 1 from below and 2 from above.

Thanks for all of the Replies. The Small Box Wrench helped for sure.
My biggest problem was I needed to replace the Bolt Hardware. I ordered from Ricambi cause I wanted to get it done this weekend so i could move on to other Projects.
When I removed the old Bolts it seems going back in the Top on the left had some rough threads & the other side wasn't much better across the board... so I was making more work for myself.
The other helpful hint is orienting as suggested.

Here is a pic of the Bolts looking towards the back of the car if it helps anyonesearching in the future. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
