That most likely wouldn't be a issue on my end. Though, this would likely mean I would miss out on seeing some potential options I may like more. I've pulled names of exterior paint and interior leather from other TM Cars I've come across.

Wish I already had a ferrari dealer that I had a good relationship with. Feel like this would make the entire process 100 times easier :-/

Any wild guesses as to the name that F167 will carry? I was thinking something traditional, along the lines of the cylinder capacity, with a historical suffix, something like "540MM".

How about the Ferrari 912 Finale as in the Final V12 (and hopefully 900 hp!)

You will be lucky to get anything more than 840hp

I have received said e-mail twice in the last two weeks (likely from same dealer as I see you are IL and I am IN, formerly IL). I have a deposit in on my first car, but no F-car history other than long time lurker / prospective customer. Definitely raised my eye brows that I would be included on a solicitation for TM/Atelier, but also recognize an e-mail blast doesn't necessary mean I would get access.

TM spots for 2024 just went live, less than 100 slots for each model in the US. I got one for my Roma Spider, they fill fast. Said IL dealer mentioned above sent out email blast to all customers in base for TM. I was a customer in past of LFF and still get their invites. Slots going fast for US TM appts. Have owned 4 pre owned F cars, this is first "new" car. Preferred clients get first shot at early slots and most desirable days (Fridays) but having a relationship with dealer helps the process. My dealer has been a pleasure to work with (the other IL dealer) to set up his process. I hope it goes as smooth with the forthcoming V12 :)

Considering how long it’s taking to get done maybe the Finalmente! is the more appropriate Italian name

Wow, that is a lot. I thought TM slots were 200 per year Worldwide! Ferrari are killing the specialness of TM, this is getting ridiculous now since they went Public..

I did my first Ferrari (812 GTS) TM. Amazing experience and would recommend it just for the experience alone. You could do a low-ish TM spec but still get the TM service

My dealer in the UK said, last year they only had 2 Factory T.M. slots.

Specing A car at the factory is an amazing experience, as a kid I could not have dreamed of owing a Ferrari, let alone flying to the factory to spec. It.
If you get the chance, do it :)

Exactly, it’s about 25 TM slots in UK per year when I thought about it for my AF SF90.. either that quote above of 100 slots available per model in USA is complete bull or Ferrari are loosening/ruining the gravitas of a TM car.. really surprised by this to be fair, think TM should be max 4 Factory TM appointments per week, so approximately 200 appointments per year, and those appointments split by country allocation % as per usual, 35% USA, 10% UK, 9% Germany etc…

Aren't most North American TM clients brought to NYC instead of Maranello? And I believe there's a regional outpost in Asia too.

I would imagine that appointments in Maranello are the most sought after, but if I'm correct, this would suggest that they only need to accommodate a third of global TM customers.

    Do I have that right?

My first ever Ferrari was an Atelier Roma I specced so pretty sure it's anyone that walks in off the street with a bank account and a pulse.

Atelier and TM are not the same. AT is regional and less special options (I believe) than TM which is at the factory and much more limited availability. Just having a checkbook does not guarantee a spot.

Atelier can also be done at the factory, I don't believe it's regional although the specs of the base car are regional but generally Blu Roma for example is available as an Atelier colour to anyone ordering a Roma anywhere in the world.

Yes agreed Atelier and TM are different, I was answering his question on whether anyone could do Atelier. A hell of a lot of customisation can be done through Atelier including painted shields, special colours etc. Really special customisations to the interior are really only available on TM though.

As much as Atelier and TM. make these cars super special I’d like to see the car first, design language and all and then look at the standard options before deciding and going AT or TM. As I tend to go dark colors on most of my vehicles (Nero, CdF or other greys) the car surface details may make me go special on the exterior color

I know I'm further keeping this thread off topic which I despise, but got a follow up (third) email today saying Atelier is coming to my dealer for two days in Feb soliciting my interest. It was a personalized email vs a broad marketing blast and noted first come, first serve; but was clear I could jump in if I wanted.

    Why not?

I’ve spec’d 4 cars at the dealership. Being able to take paint samples outside and see in different light was great - as well as actually seeing the leather samples.

To go to the AT route would be fun, but I don’t want to go to NY. If they came to the dealership I would go for it. I imagine best part would be seeing the actual samples of a greater variety. No real downside if they are coming to you. That’s my 2 cents!

Totally agree! I have already spec'd my car but would still take the opportunity for Atelier if I could. Unfortunately, I'm out of the country on the dates they are coming else I would jump on it.

I'm going with a mildly rare (?) color in Aluminum Lucido and was lucky to be able to see it in person on another customer car, which was nice for assurance on my choice. Had I not, i probably would move my trip to take advantage of the Atelier visit to dealer to see the sample.

Now, someone please post something new on F167... hoping I can get one and an Atelier for that!!

Yes ok let's get back on topic. I saw the autoevolution piece the other day that someone linked suggesting 838hp will be the magic number. I'm curious as to the source of that other than possibly idle speculation on this thread. It's also interesting to me that since I entered the world of Ferrari a couple of years back, I see small differences in quoted hp in different outlets/sources for given models. Example, my F12 in the my ferrari app says 740hp whereas in other places I see it as 730. Similar with the Roma which I saw with everything from 612 to 620 hp. I'm assuming this is the difference between bhp and ps since it's approximately accurate.

The 838 would be 850 PS (or CV as autoevolution uses) which feels interesting to me and I hope it is but do people genuinely think it will have more power than an SP3 at 829? Or would that be reserved for the lightweight edition which comes after?

Personally, I struggle to feel the difference between Roma, 812, F12 and 296 other than weight and balance. Whenever I put my foot down and I'm below 80 in all of them I'm basically holding on for dear life so whatever the number is I'm sure I'll be fine with but it would be nice to have the most powerful V12 available if I'm able to get an allocation at some point in time...

To my “seat of the pants”feel the 296 is on another level as far as acceleration is concerned challenging the likes of SF90 and La Ferrari. It’s akin to being “shot out of a cannon “ vs the 812’s “freight train coming on steam”
Both very fast but the progressive torque nature of the V12 is much different from the instant on nature of the hybrid turbo V6.
Of the two I prefer the V12 for the street- less(not a lot less) likely to get bitten
