    The men met the Ferrari owner at his home and then held his family at gunpoint, police say...

    The attempted robbery took place on September 20, 2022, in Nottinghamshire, England. After pretending to show interest in buying the Ferrari, the duo, Mohammed Ali and Muhamed Juwara, came to the owner’s home to close the deal. However, they had no intention of buying the car. Ali pulled a gun and ordered the owner to put on handcuffs, police say, but the owner and his partner fought back. The owner's partner hit the criminals with a vase, at which point Ali grabbed the woman’s phone and fled the scene.

    The altercation and news article originated from England where the use of the term 'partner' can refer to a number of different relationships but is most commonly associated with a good old fashioned Wife or Husband. No fancy PC stuff here just a different way of applying the English language.

    Well Im glad the thieves were not able to carry out their plan. Im not at all interested in how the couple refers to one another, or the English article for that matter. The article could have referred to the thieves by something else rather than their names though . lol
