I don't know. To my eye the BBR misses sharpness around the front fenders and headlights. It's too rounded it seems from this picture.

I am curious about the Tecnomodel Mythos series of 1/18 models; how do they compare to the "standard" Tecnomodel versions of the same car? There seems to be a significant price differential on EBay. Specifically I am looking at the Ferrari 246/256 model where the Mythos version is model # TM18-244D and the other more expensive version is model # TEC 18244C. Is this simply a case where the original release was of a certain number of "collector series" models and then the excess models are re-branded?

Good example of the difference between factory workers (shown in this photo) and artisan model builders.

    No, not always.

I've been in the specialty model car field, full time since 1982. Some artisan builders are small workshops (typically in Europe) where there is more than one artisan builder.... sometimes 2 to 6 people.
As a side note; many collectors & various professionals have considered my business to be an "artisan" firm, which has at times employed several builders who were always real model builders and car enthusiasts = 'artisan builders.'

Pardon my ignorance, but out of curiosity, what exactly is your business?

Saw this picture at Diecastsociety. Itś from the Tecnomodel stand. I'm 99% sure it's the same as the one produced by AiQ years ago.

I have a Looksmart version on order and plan to weather it. Speaking of which, has anyone received a 1/18 488p from Looksmart? I ordered mine back in October from a dealer.
