I am missing a couple of clips on my door card and am looking to replace them. I am sure they are available everywhere but dont quite know the dimensions. I can get them at the usual online retailers but am not super excited about paying $20 to ship a $0.50 piece of plastic. Anyone know a generic replacement part available online or at an auto parts store?

Not sure where the $20 price came from. Scuderia parts lists them at 69 cents each and Ferrari Philadelphia at $3.15 for 4.

If they have them I'd buy them because it seems its no longer a good part number, at least for now. There are hundreds of generic pieces and a great deal of effort could be spent trying to find a compatible part when the right thing may be available for so cheap.

Rd - from PS's post, it's adding in the price of shipping that makes it a $20 part...

PS - yes, would be cool if this was available at Home Depot, but... online order and bite the bullet. Those UPS van drivers gotta eat too! :)

I just bought a bunch of stiff like that from Ferrparts for my interior work this winter. I spent >hour trying to find the same/similar ones from online suppliers. At that price for a dozen parts, it's better to get the right one and concentrate on your project. You can find them in the parts books.

Thank you. It is the shipping that kills it. They are about $0.70 each, but $19 shipping.

UPS doesn't care if its shipped from Rock Auto, Winzer, Wurth or a Ferrari dealer.

Lowe's has a good selection of auto pins and clips in the hardware sections in those large drawers.

It just buy an oil filter or something you know you'll need in the future with your order to justify the shipping

I have found that for the little stuff, sometimes the dealer isn't a bad option. I ordered some OEM screws and washers from them, they didn't charge me shipping, and I picked them up, so they were basically just the cost of the screws and washers.

I was Central NJ Ferrari's 1st parts sale for this year. $3 in washers... way cheaper than ordering them and having them shipped.

When you are done, I'll give you $20 for the whole thing left over.

That's also a good way to buy crush washers. 400 for $20.
