    I have it.
400 Superamerica info can be found in Antoine Prunet's book Ferrari Legend. And in many articles in the FCA mag Prancing Horse, and heck, even in early issues of the original Cavallino magazines. Plus the Pininfarina Ferrari book by Etienne Cornil. Plus the book "Fantastiques Ferrari" by Antoine Prunet and Peter Vann (EPA publishers). Plus the large format book Le Ferrari di Pininfarina by Angelo Tito Anselmi (Grafiche Mazzucchelli), the one some people don't seem to like. And many many more.

Does anyone have this book already? Very strange that nowhere any sample pages are shown and that the main book dealers don't offer it. That makes me a little bit sceptical as to the quality of the book.

I like Nye's Dino book. Reasonably priced used copies are out there.

I wonder why anybody would pay a premium for a reference book that’s been fairly comprehensively updated in a second edition. First editions of those…especially if superseded…don’t necessarily carry collector value like books of other genres might. I guess if you’re a completist it might make sense, otherwise…..

I thought the website said it was still a few months away from release.

Try buying a first edition, first print, mint copy of Ulysses.

I think you may have missed the point. I have lots of first editions of novels, memoirs, etc.

Why would anyone buy a first edition of any book when plenty of new ones are available?

Hi Mark, the book has already been published. One item is offered at eBay and Libreria dell'automobile has a copy.

For pretty much the same reason that someone living in a congested city, say London or NYC, might pay $25M for a vintage Ferrari when a $25K Toyota would likely get you from point A to B quicker...:)

Are there any known upcoming book projects related to Daytona SP3? It would be fascinating to read how LaFerrari was transformed to SP3 with all the required modifications.

Currently the "Daytona SP3" book searches return only Lego Sense of Perfection book. Got a hold of that then. The book part 2: "Conceiving the car" is related to Ferrari design process of the Daytona SP3 and contains 48 pages. This section is, however, more about Ferrari designer interviews, loosely related to actual car. SP3 Lego model keeps appearing on these pages as well, both on text and images. The rest of the book, 192 pages, is focused on Lego stuff.

While there are some nice pictures and some interesting details about Daytona SP3 design process, this book doesn't really reveal anything about the car. It is purely focused on the work of styling personnel.

Interesting. How would I get ahold of the 2nd part you refer to regarding the design story. That’s what I would be interested in.

The non-limited edition (without slipcase) is available at lego.com.

Here is an excerpt from the book:

    https://www.lego.com/en-us/categories/adults-welcome/article/ferrari-daytona-the-sense-of-perfection-book

It doesn't really go deeper into details than what is shown in the excerpt. Its a bit pricey for what you get, if only interested in Ferrari side of a story.

There is no book that I am aware of that covers the Daytona SP3 (other then the Lego book) as yet.

    Monza SP1 and SP2 yes.

If they would only offer a "slightly" more affordable variant. The point of these books (at least partly) is to tell the story to enthusiasts and fans of the brand, who do not (cannot) buy the cars. Making the books as unobtainable as the cars is not the way to feed the myth and expand the fan pool...

I did a search and found there Sackey book and the Lewandowski Image Unavailable, Please Login book on the 288. Is this a different book? Is it any good? Shrink wrapped so I wasn't able to see the contents.

The Lewandowski GTO book in the Art & Car series is bilangual, but not bad at all. Hard to find though and sometimes overpriced.
