    Your car.... your choice.
With that shade of green you are limited in alternative interior colors.
Black will be very dark, IMHO. Perhaps you could go with a shade darker of tan.... or try black floormats in the front and see if you like the outcome.

Chas…..I am going to tag along with you here on FChat. I would like to have the seats in my 330 done too. They are not bad but it’s not the proper leather when it restored by the previous owner in 1996.

They are black so I never bothered. I did my part by rebuilding the engine, wiring harness, suspension and other mechanical components. It might be time to address the interior.

I would add pictures but I am in St Petersburg for the winter.

You could buy some Weathertech liners (ducking for cover).

You and I are in the exact same boat…..I also did all of the mechanicals you speak of. Interior was kinda my last step.

I had a verde pino 330 GTS (for 34 years). The seats and door panels were an orangy-brown tobacco color, I never knew the proper name, but I liked it. The original carpet and arm rests were black.

Black carpet always looks amazing. Always always always. I've done probably 1000 interiors... I've finally learned my lesson for years in a car like yours I'd go with a dark green or something to keep it interesting... And go with the not so obvious choice.... Ultimately to have people wonder why the interior is so funky...

Then I started doing black and the general consensus is that black looks amazing and better than whatever was in there before and makes the seats etc... pop... And gives more dimension to the interior... Which visually all makes sense.

Also....changing out carpet is super easy for someone to do if they don't like it. A relatively minor expense.

Black is too harsh, green is too obvious.

I’d go with a rich dark brown.

What about a darker beige carpet and a few shades lighter seats?

Yes, I think a coffee or chocolate color carpet would work well. My leather is almost as orange as a basketball so I had to be careful with carpet color. Too much leather/carpet contrast can be jarring. I was careful to use colors that were available when the car was new even though they are not original to the car. The seats were much lighter even than in your GTC and I just didn’t care for it.

Thank you. All credit to my fantastic trimmer….a guy best known for rods and customs over about 40 years. He made the mats out of carpet and Connelly scraps.:)

He is, indeed. By the way, the small gap between the leather and the shift gate was not his fault, and corrected since the picture was taken.
