So Grigio Latte looks more like the current color of 0233EU posted by Aardy in an other thread ? Are there more than one nuance of Grigio Latte ,if not is the current color of 0419GT not too white ?

On this pic, 0419GT looks close to 0233EU colour...

Firstly, there is more than just one Grigio Latte. And there was more than just one paint manufacturer (Lechler, Max Meyer, and many many more!).
Secondly, the current color of 0419 GT is not Grigio Latte. Not at all.
Thirdly, the old sales card for 0233 EU (0191 EL), in my archive, mentions "Colore Latte" but WITHOUT the word Grigio and especially without the color code.
Therefore: It is simply impossible to find out which paint is correct.
Plus, some owners prefer to apply their own version of color. Not necessarily exactly as born.

This photo has been heavily photoshopped. It is completely useless.

"Exactly as born" is not possible, except in sales talk.

Why? Simply because 0419 GT today is not painted grey but white.

    Chromed Borranis suddenly looking blue-ish/grey-ish?
Clearly it is another "enhanced" (manipulated) pic, and almost 70 years old.

I thought 0419GT had been carefully restored to original « grigio latte MM 15702, tetto verde 395 ». It’s not the case apparently...

Chrome-plating is blue. Nickel-plating is yellow.

This pic is awesome... Saw the car recently at Cavallino in FL and am considering speccing a 296 using 0405 as inspiration... Wanted confirmation that the current spec is the original and I think that pic solved it for me. Thank you.

Does anyone know if 0405GT was ever owned in Buffalo NY?
Barchetta as well as RM say David Leopold owned the car, I know he was a racer from Buffalo who owned quite a few race cars, but this is the only "GT" type car it seemed he owned. Says he had it in NYC, is this correct? or did he own it in Buffalo like all his race cars?
Its a beautiful car, no doubt the prettiest of the GT Coupe PFs.

Red would be much darker in B&W. If I convert a picture of a grey car in B&W it comes close to the grey-shade in this picture... However i have also my thoughts about te SN (looking at the wheelarches at the rear, but with a restauration it could have been changed)

Finding a color photo will settle this once and for all.

Rear view might be enough as the car might have had special tail lights. I have one but the resolution is too low so I'm not sure.
